3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I'm still working on core classes at the moment. I'm looking forward to starting the degree-specific classes next term.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: All the courses I've picked so far have been chosen because they could help me in my current or future career.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: Online classes can be difficult. It takes more effort to get the same out of the class than if it were on campus.

Tuition & Financial Aid: There's no question that DeVry is expensive. It's the price you pay for for-profit education, and not going to a traditional college/university. The advantage is though, that there are more specific degree programs available in certain fields. Instead of just a Bachelor's degree, you can get a focus or concentration, like accounting or database management.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: There's a small common area that students can use for studying or gathering. Other than that, there's really no other student areas.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: I haven't had any issues with the school network up to this point. Any IT issues are quickly handled by the onsite IT staff.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I've no had issues with the academic flexibility so far. I'm very pleased with all experiences up to this point.

4 College Junior

Student Body: For the most part, the student body is made up of working adults looking for a career change, or advancement. There are some students recently out of high school. Since this is a faster degree program, that may be what interests the younger group over standard 4 year colleges.

3 College Junior

Facilities: Socially there's not much going on. It's a small campus, which probably plays into that. I will say that everyone I've met so far has been very friendly and approachable. The staff are very easy to talk to, and take a genuine interest in your inquiries.

3 College Junior

Career Services: It's difficult to rate, as I haven't really utilized career services yet.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: It's a very expensive education, but for working adults, it's hard to find other options. The curriculum is appropriate for your chosen field, and the professors typically work in the field they teach.

5 College Sophomore

Online Courses: live web classroom, 24/7 online tutoring service, teachers will respond within a day, the work load is manageable. When doing online classes, application programs are already linked to class so you won't have to pay extra money for them. Interaction with peers is better than ever. Online projects are fun and possible to do on time.

5 College Sophomore

Facilities: With DeVry University, it is very unique. It really focuses and specializes your talents and how to pursue it into your career. Rather than have numerous general majors, DeVry has very specific majors that will definitely fit anyone's description. The classrooms fit up to 20+ people which makes it great to get the one on one interaction with the professor if needed. The lounge is great to kick back and relax with your peers. The school has a huge board in the main hallway that gives out announcements to job opportunities, scholarships, contests, anything that will help or interest your future. Once you graduate from DeVry, they will help you get the career of your dreams and I am proud to be apart of that.

5 College Junior
