1 College Junior

Campus Dining: There is no on campus dining.

1 College Junior

Athletics: This school does not focus on or participate in athletics. Primarily it is a seminary and chooses to focus on that rather than sports.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I felt very welcomed and attended to. All my questions and concerns have been addressed. The students have been friendly and personable.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: There are several viable options for off-campus housing. Especially considering the proximity to the light rail, many more options are available to students willing to take public transportation.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: I always feel safe and secure on campus. The location and openness of the campus helps with the feeling of safety.

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: This is a religious based institution so it follows that the majority of its students are religious. All students are asked to attend church regularly. The LGBT community is not shunned here but I would say that it is not encouraged.

1 College Junior

Greek Life: There are no fraternity or sororities on campus. If that is a social requirement for your college experience then you may need to consider another campus.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: The financial aid process is still ongoing for me but I have had a difficult time finding scholarships or grants that I qualify for. My advice would be to talk to professors and current students about what routes they took with financial aid.

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: This school is located near a light rail and several parks. There is a mall and some small shops and fine dining not far from campus. One classroom has a beautiful view of the mountains and there is a golf course within a short driving distance.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: The closest dining options leave something to be desired. However if you are willing to drive a little further out there are several high quality and reasonably priced restaurants.

Diversity: it is a seminary--everyone is christian.

Parking: no issue finding parking on campus

Campus Housing: great for students who choose this. no less expensive than off campus.

Computers: Printing is available on campus, best ot use your own ocmputer.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I don't know enough about off campus housing to address these questions.

4 College Freshman

Computers: I can do anything that is needed with the computer that I have. I don't need to worry much about how to accomplish an electronic tasks at school, plus the tech folks are quite helpful.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: DenSem is a place that I feel at home. People are friendly, professors are interesting, approachable, and reasonable, and the campus is pretty, clean, and inviting.

4 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: I don't see any issues with the policies in place. We are a conservative Christian based school that upholds values associated in this vein.

College Freshman

Nightlife: This school is not one to talk parties so much. So far I've just been a commuter anyways, so I don't know much about life around the clock.

5 College Freshman

Academics: Counseling is a great major to have at DenSem. I feel very well taken care of by the administration, student government, and the professors. I feel like I am listened to critically and that what I share is thoughtfully reviewed and responded to in a timely manner

5 College Freshman

Academics: The work is hard, but the work is also worth it. I don't feel like I am doing busy work, but instead, I am doing work that progresses me towards my end goal of being a mental health counselor. Professors are caring and understanding, the curriculum is interesting and relevant.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: There's not much to do right by campus... just a trail, a garden, and a community college just down the street.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: It is affordable to most and is very well maintained and in great condition. The buildings are at most 10 years old.

4 College Freshman

Transportation: I don't think we've got a problem because the campus is so small and the parking is fine.

College Freshman

Greek Life: There is no Greek life at DenSem
