3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Living on campus, I believe it varies.

2 College Sophomore

Transportation: School shuttle needs more stops to the different shopping area in dover.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: My school focuses more on the international students than African American students in the USA.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: The weather is sometimes Bi-polar some days it is cold some days its hot

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Administration is slow but effectively dismantling Greek life on campus. My campus is pretty dull and boring now that the admin has put stricter rules on them. They mess with the Greek life in the Spring semester because there ares more then just Greek"s weeks they have mixed non Greek organization weeks at the same time and it is competition. Hard to know what events to go because of the conflicting times. Greeks aren't aloud to be on there plots like they used in my Freshman year.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: For me it was like a real clinic. The doctor knew what she was doing. But there is nothing better than your home doctor that knows your body best.

College Sophomore

Weather: The weather is weird one in DE. The weather get confused weather it should follow the southern weather or the northern weather.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: I had an internship offer my FRESHMAN year. None of my friends that attended other schools had this opportunity but me.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: For a college, it could be more challenging. It needs to challenge the students more.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: My getaway spots was the gym and the library. No one bothers me, I relief my stress. Its convenient becuase they stay open late

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: Del State is a diverse HBCU. Students not just with an African American Back ground attend this school. I've seen students from Australia & Asia.

4 College Sophomore

Nightlife: If you know the right people, night life is GREAT!

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: DSU is a historical Black college. Therefore, A lot of things on campus is an historical landmark in which they will not knock down. A lot of the buildings are very old. So when it gets warm outside it is HOT in your room. You can sometimes find roaches as well.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I never lived off campus so I am not too sure about the Off-Campus lifestyle. But as I hear from my friends it can become stressing.

2 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: I am not sure. Because I eat way healthier than my friends. I am not a fast food person. So for people who would not mind fast food its rather well. On the other hand, if you are more like a health freak like myself you have very few options.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: Like most schools, there are students whom get away with breaking the rules. But there are more student that get caught then who get away with breaking rules.

4 College Sophomore

Greek Life: It is a GLIMPSE of your typical historically African American Greek life. To get the real deal you will have to go more so down south.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: To enjoy something off campus make sure you become friends with someone whom have a car. Because everything that has potential to be an enjoyable off campus event you will have to drive there.

3 College Sophomore

Majors: Honestly, Del State is not that hard to get into. But like most colleges they want to admit people who will become an asset to their institution. So it is beyond just having a good GPA. You should defiantly enroll into clubs, volunteer, make yourself marketable.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: I studied Criminal Justice. The CJ department is more than a typical department. They become your family. Faculty who did not even have me as their own student were willing to help me and watch me succeed. The professors were HIGHLY educated. I never questioned their intelligence. Some teachers demand more of a work load but it is worth it.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Too secluded, not enough around.

College Student

Academics: Well I dont know how too tell you.

3 College Student

Weather: This campus has all four seasons.

2 College Student

Campus Dining: If it's healthy there is no seasoning, or if it's seasoned it's not healthy.

College Student

Parking: All parking is on campus!
