Academic Flexibility: Since I'm only a freshman in college, it's pretty difficult to get the classes you want. So cross your fingers!

Campus Resources: I'm glad that the library has a lot of space and the campus size is not so bad.

Academic Experience: Starting out with my lower division classes are similar to when I was in high school. But these are courses during the summer so they're quick-paced which is not so bad.

Academic Experience: Class registration is competitive but that's one of the things that seems to most important in my opinion.

Career Services: I guess the COUN 200 is helpful when it comes to figuring out how to transfer, but most of the time it's self planning.

Student Body: The only way to make friends or socialize is club activities. It's really sad that students don't interact with each other that much unless they were lucky to make friends with students in their classes or knew them before.

Overall Experience: The College and Career Center is sometimes helpful. I would prefer asking your counselor since they know a variety of answers that relate to college and transferring. ALSO TRY TO APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS! The biggest regret I've ever made in high School.

Campus Resources: everybody is treated the same. although some might not get as much help due to little staff and many students

Overall Experience: i like how i still see people from highschool, there is mixed students, get to meet new faces everyday. i enjoyed being on the womens soccer team. met new people and traveled to new places for the games. the school is big and i enjoy getting help from students, teachers, and counselors.

Academic Flexibility: Transferring credits was easy and hassle free. Getting classes and arranging them and the rest of my life into reasonable order was always a hassle and extremely difficult but eventually possible.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: My major (Liberal Studies) is offered in most schools. This major program is decent compared to other programs I have looked into.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: I have had mostly really awesome professors who are both knowledgeable and enthusiastic about what they do. They make the classes interesting in whatever way they can and have given me the education and confidence in transferring to continue my degree.

3 College Junior

Career Services: i honestly have no idea what the school offers as far as post-grad services.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: the campus offers everything you need to succeed. if you are into sports our tract is amazing, our weight room have great equipment. our many computer labs are extremely helpful. our library is a great, quite place to study

4 College Junior

Online Courses: i only taken on online course, it was half online half in the classroom. since the course was a math class doing me work online helped me understand the material better, because if you got the problem wrong you had a few chances to try and get it right. i prefer this over turing in written homework because in math if you have reached an answer is not always correct.

4 College Junior

Facilities: The school offers a lot of great opportunities to help you exceed not only in the classes you are enrolled in but further more. The school offers several computer labs, which is convenient and helpful. inside the library they offer privet study rooms, so if you have a group project you can go into a room instead of disturbing other students who are trying to study in the library.

Student Body: De Anza offers many clubs to be connected with your fellow colleges. in my opinion the clubs were developed to encourage students to be comfortable with themselves, weather it be because their gay, religious, or tree huggers. the student body also respects those who would rather keep to themselves and not participate in any school activities.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: Once I found the motivation to complete my GE requirements to transfer, I was successful in doing so. It was often a struggle due to financial reasons and adding classes has always been a huge hassle. I would choose this school again for its quarter system thus allowing for quick transfer and because it is the best option in my experience of community colleges in my area, but those would be the only reasons.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: my declared major is art, so far i have not experienced any program/facility's that help me reach that goal. i know the school is very attentive when it come to those who have a major in environmental studies.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: for this certain subject, it really depends on the professor. some professors are willing to help do what ever they can to make the majority of the class pass. on the other hand there are professors who could care less and leave students to fend for them selves. one really good program the school offers to students is there math building, in this building they offer any kind of help a student could possibly need. if it a group you could just join to work on your level of math, or it could be weekly individual tutoring. if you are enrolled in a math class at De Anza the help is there if you want/need it.

3 College Senior

Student Body: I have seen some club activity. There is a club day once per quarter, but aside fr those days, rarely do I see club or extracurricular activities occurring.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: A lot of the different resource centers offered on campus have not struck me as being particularly interested in helping students. The bare minimum is met in these resources and that's it.

De Anza professors are exceptional. Most are young, lively, and diverse, and love what they do. By the end of the quarter, students will know their subject, assuming they have put in the effort, and transfer to their university of choice.

The beauty of De Anza is its ability to deliver quality education at a low price. Apart from academics, however, there are a few oddities that leave one befuddled. The bureaucracy is frustrating at best, and the campus is certainly not the quintessential college campus students see in the movies. Also, it takes a quarter or two to become acclimated with the campus, its surprises, and proper coping mechanisms. In conclusion, even with all of the College's impediments, students keep coming back day after day, decade after decade, for the quality educators De Anza has to offer.
