5 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Small classes which makes one-on-one learning very available. Teachers and Administration are very friendly and accommodating.

2 College Senior

Academic Experience: some of the classes seem a waste of time and money, i'm here doing my generals as its cheaper than going to a 4yr college to do them, i can get them over and done with here and then hopefully go to a 4yr college later

2 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: i have got no financial aid as i am not eligible but Dawson does provide their own scholarships.
its a cheap school to get your generals done at

Campus Resources: the gym is great at dawson and the library isn't bad either

2 College Senior

Career Services: its a small school so most kids go onto a 4 yr college after graduating from dawson

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Dawson Community College offers courses that are equal to the first two years of study towards a Bachelors degree. This is of great benefit for U.S. and international students because it is less expensive, the class size is smaller, and faculty members are more accessible to students. Students can complete their first two years at Dawson Community and then transfer to a university to complete their Bachelor’s degree for their final two years.

Career Services: Dawson Community college is dedicated to helping post-grad students and alumni succeed in their chosen profession. If you want individualized guidance about course selection or help with résumés, portfolios, interviews and other job search strategies, career advisers will assist you. Career and alumni success also offer workshops and classes about entrepreneurship, branding, salary negotiation, socially responsible careers and more. The office of career and alumni success helps your find internships, provides you with job leads based on desired profession, The career center delivered presentations and participated in faculty/student networking events. I was told last last year, more than 3,000 jobs were posted, and potential employers were anticipating new hires.

Campus Resources: DCC has a great athletic center across from the school. They have a large library and lots of campus activities to choose from.

College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: The class flexibility has been great, works around my full time job.

College Sophomore

Academic Experience: DCC has been very accomidating with class registration, they meet with me at times around my work. They have a great tutoring program.

College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I have not yet started at DCC, but am enrolled to start January 15,2013. They have been very accomidating and are willing to work around my full time job. They have a nice safe facility.

Academic Flexibility: My experience with Dawson is that they are very flexible in terms of academics. I was forced to drop two classes because of server problems, and I was able to drop them without trouble and I received a refund promptly. My old college would have dragged it out until I couldn't drop the class.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: The online classes have been just as helpful as normal classroom classes, and I feel I have even learned more online than in a traditional setting. The only problem has been accessing homework for a few classes, and that was because of a server problem on Dawson's part.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The experience I've had with Dawson CC is that they provide exactly the service you pay for. I have had some trouble with accessing online classes, and because of this I was refunded the tuition for these courses. Otherwise, there have been no problems with tuition.

4 College Senior

Student Body: Most students are very active and involved in the school. Whether it be with sports or different organizations, students are very apt to get going and help out. Not only that but everyone gets along and all the students seem to mesh real well.

4 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education I am getting is great. I just would make more of a variety of classes available to the students. The classes are limited and independent study classes are much more dificult than going to a class that they would readily offer else where at another school. I cannot complain about the financial aid at Dawson just because I am here on scholarship.

Academic Experience: Need to Offer More Variety. Due to a shortage of teachers, they have eliminated some courses, from the school. The classes and curriculum they do offer, however, more than make up for the ones lacking. I initially started as a geology and anthropology major, but shifted my focus to microbiology, and although I may pursue those in the future, I am more than happy with my experience here. The teaching staff are constantly involved with the students. Passing a class shouldn't be difficult at all. Class registration is easy, and they help with the process from start to finish.

Campus Resources: Facilities Are Pretty Good – There are two gymnasiums at DCC, weight rooms, indoor baseball practice area, and a few out of the way activity rooms. the library is great, if they don't have a book there, they can generally have it in a couple of days. There seems to always be some campus activity going on here. Filling your downtime shouldn't be very difficult.

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: Resources Are Great – The wireless network can be utilized from anywhere in the school. There are computers in the library, computer lab, some classrooms. I never needed to bring my computer to class, although a few times it would have been helpful. printing can be done from any computer, and you can print the document at almost any printer on campus.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Small School, Big Attitude – I am a science major, and the teachers and advisors actually care. I can honestly say that this school grows on you. You immediately like it, but after a semester here, you love it. DCC is a small school, but they have a huge attitude. The faculty is great, they enjoy their jobs, and go out of their way to make sure you get the most out of your experience here. I wish I weren't leaving in a year.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Since they don't offer a lot of different classes I really have no flexibility in my classes. Like I have said, it is a lot of the same teachers. I have the same teacher I had this semester for 3 classes next semester for 5. I have no idea if I am able to transfer any of my credits yet which is pretty frustrating.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: I am a criminal justice major and the school is number one in Montana for criminal justice but they don't have a huge variation of classes. I have the same professor for 3 out of 5 of my classes which is a little ridiculous. They need to get more professors. The class registration process is the same at any community college, it runs fast and smooth.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: My adviser is really helpful when I am in need of help. I was a volleyball manager and I don't think I would have that opportunity anywhere else. As long as I graduate I am okay with the school!!

5 College Senior

Career Services: Jobs Afterwords – I went through the program here to get my CNA license while I continued my education. It was excellent, they actually referenced you to the hospital for work, and the hospital reimbursed you for the class, the textbook materials and the cost of your headmasters test.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: My School – Its a great school as a first school, but your education can't end here. I love the teachers, and they definatly help you to get a start at your education. Its an awesome generals school. The chemistry program is especially well taught.
