Considering Queens is a commuter school and its location is in a suburban neighborhood, the "nightlife" on campus is considered active if you are not into the drinking scene. However, it does not provide much for those who are into partying. Clubs and Greek organizations throw parties on and off campus, but because many students get around via public transit, getting to the parties can be difficult. Students living in apartments sometimes hold parties at their place. The College Green is a bar about two blocks from campus for those 21-and-over.

Because of the large array of clubs on campus, there are always things to do both at night and during the day on and off campus. The best pubs near campus include The Pub, Irish Pub, and The College Green. Students claim the best sports bar to go to is Hooters, and the best activities for students under 21 are either going to museums or to house parties.
