Overall Experience: Wasted a lot of years in a major that is interesting but the quality of professors were poor.

2 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: only a handful of professors were good.

3 Recent Alumnus

Online Courses: only had a few classes that were partially online.

Student Body: Freshman's create loud noises in study area's and waste their time playing video games and partying.

2 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: Promises for an internship and the students end up looking for one instead of them giving us leads.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: Curriculum is jumbled in the associates degree and Bachlore's is hard to pick from with no help from advisor's or department

Tuition & Financial Aid: Rate has been increasing 5% to 10% every year or so.

Academic Flexibility: Wait time for applications is over the extended wait time. Looses paper work and makes students restart.

2 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: Resources for the art and design department were taken away because of budget cuts. No responses to issues or bad customer service.

Overall Experience: Since I'm in the Advertisement major, my major is considerablly easier to manage than other majors, because you mostly here to learn the arts and design. But in City Tech, you'll only learn more about design, and you'll ahve to rely alot on the Adobe programs such as Illustrator, Photshop, and InDesign and others, and you need full access to these programs, at the school and at home.

Facilities: Everybody at City Tech came to this school because of the tuition price, cause it's too expensive to go to college elswhere, and people in this school are mostly looking out for themselves, including myself. Certain other people come to this mostly for socialization.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Flexibility: Some classes are flexible but others are not because of the workloads of homework.

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: People at my school use the library alot, but it's more like a hangout place because most people socialize. And other people use the library to study. But the computer labs in the school are very overcrowded since City Tech is the only school that has the most students attending there. And alot of people focus alot on clubs too.

Career Services: I'm not sure about that

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: College is all about money and expenses, so alot of classes require textbooks and supplies, and software. So you need access to everything while going through college because you'll struggle alot in classes academically. Since I'm in the Advertisement Design major, I have to have access to all the software programs that I use in my classes to do my work. And 5 classes is average based on college standards, but it's harder though cause you'll have 100 hours of homework to complete.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: Professors are either likeable or dislikable. Some professors are nice, and they take it easy on students, there are some that are also nice, but will work you hard on assignments. And there are some professors that are way strict and dislikable because they think they're all that and they got a big ego. Class registration is a first come first serve process, and seats get filled out too quickly.

Recent Alumnus

Online Courses: I don't take online classes, and don't intend to, because you need full access to a computer and internet to take online classes, and I don't own my own computer since I'm a student.

Tuition & Financial Aid: It's bad with my case since I don't get financial aid to cover my expenses, but I live with my father and he pays for me to go to City Tech, but it's still not enough money. The school states my father makes too much money and I'm not eligible for financial aid pell grants or TAP.

3 Recent Alumnus

Student Body: Since City Tech aka New York City College of Technology is located in Brooklyn, there is alot more black and hispanic students there since I was used to going to middle school and high school where the majority of of students were black and hispanic. But there are alot more people from other races that attend to this school though, where I see more Asians, whites, and Middle Eastern.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: I am majoring in Hospitality Management. I love my major so much and there are many opportunities available.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: I am not sure about this.

2 College Junior

Campus Resources: There's not enough computers for students to use and there is no self- serve printing.

4 College Junior

Career Services: The professors are helpful, they are helping student to find a job.
