New York City weather is rather consistent. Summer months are hot and humid, autumn months are pleasant and generally dry, winter months are cold (but not unbearably so until February), and spring months are breezy and rainy.
However, seeing as Lehman is a commuter college in the middle of the Bronx, the students and campus are used to the mid-Atlantic seasonal changes. During snowstorms, the campus walkways are always cleared, and there is sufficient heating in all buildings. During the hotter, more unbearable summers, there is sufficient air conditioning in all buildings, as well. Either way, one’s wardrobe must consist of sundresses, flip-flops, jackets, fleeces, heavy coats, Uggs, and rain boots in order to be prepared to battle the elements.
