With enough variety and prices to keep students' wallets fat and students' waistlines fatter, the restaurants that line both Kingsbridge and Bedford Park Boulevard are definitely a bargain. Kingsbridge Road is chock-full of restaurants that will satisfy every palette. There is a McDonald’s, Dunkin' Donuts, La Cocina restaurant (Dominican cuisine, where lunch specials are only $5 and come with rice, beans, stewed chicken, and fried plantains), pizza places, several Chinese restaurants, a diner, a Mexican restaurant, and more.

Along Bedford Park, there are bakeries, as well as a Subway and more restaurants. However, most of the students frequent Kingsbridge because of the various shops, bodegas, pharmacies, and supermarkets that line the avenue. Because of that, it is a livelier area, and if students wish to dine somewhere else in the city, they can take one of the many buses that stop along Kingsbridge or hop on the 4 or D train.
