Athletics: They have all types of athletic teams

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: Hardly no school spirit anywhere I went. Athletics are hardly ever mentioned either. I'm not even sure what athletic programs there even are. it's so quiet in that school community.

Although Lehman athletics aren’t a main focus, there are many sports for students to get involved with, if he or she so chooses. There are men’s teams for baseball, basketball, cross country, indoor track, outdoor track, soccer, swimming and diving, tennis, and volleyball; there are also women’s teams for basketball, cross country, indoor track, outdoor track, softball, swimming and diving, tennis, and volleyball.

Students can also elect to join the intramurals teams, as well as the cheerleading squad. A lot of students also take advantage of the gym at the APEX that boasts state-of-the-art facilities, as well as an Olympic-sized swimming pool that is regularly used for commercials and movie sets (such as a 2008 commercial starring Michael Phelps). The APEX is also home to many dance, aerobics, and yoga classes, and students regularly enjoy watching the basketball games or swimming competitions there, as well.
