New York City is an amazing area full of excitement, crowded subways, 24-hour bodegas, tasty multicultural dishes, and chill cafés. The saying that "the city never sleeps" is definitely true. City College is located in Manhattan, more precisely in Harlem. This part of NYC may not be as hip as the West Village or as lavish as the Upper East Side, but there is much to do here. From the acclaimed Apollo Theater to the West Harlem Community Kitchen, the Studio Museum in Harlem, and Sylvia's Restaurant, there are many famous places around. In fact, Columbia University is only a few subway stops away. City students don't always interact with the Columbia students, but there are programs exchanged between the two schools by various clubs and organizations.
