5 College Junior

Diversity: I haven't noticed any issues with diversity on campus. Everyone gets along with any type of person and I love that. There is no sense of racism or prejudice at the school.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: I feel fairly safe on campus. There are security booths at every entrance/exit. They don't thoroughly check ID's so I think that needs to be regulated better. Otherwise there is no issue.

4 College Junior

Weather: We have a fairly big campus so during warm weather students can be found studying and socializing on the green lawn. During the winter the snow makes the campus look like a winter wonderland.

4 College Junior

Athletics: From my observation the athletics at my school seem great. There isn't a lot of school spirit but there is enough. The school has had quite a few CUNY championships, predominately in cheerleading. A beautiful track/soccer field and an olympic pool. Most games aren't filled with students but not empty either. Most friends and family of the athletes attend the games.

Off-Campus Housing: I have not looked in to Off-campus housing. The neighborhood is nice, however it would probably be expensive as most Brooklyn apartments are.

College Freshman

Nightlife: I don't know anything about parties at the moment.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Students are very diverse. I can't even describe a typical student, because everyone is unique and distinctively different. People are reserved and antisocial a lot of times.

4 College Freshman

Majors: I was very satisfied with my admission process. It went smoothly, everyone at the international admissions office was very nice and helpful.

4 College Freshman

Majors: I enjoy most of my classes. I am only a bit unhappy about my English 1010, because the teacher rarely gives a grade higher than a C which hurts everyone's GPA.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: I don't find the campus too strict or too loose. It's okay so far.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: There are some scholarships available for international students, but not many and it's very hard to receive them.

2 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There is only fast food, nothing remotely healthy, not to mention organic. I am very dissatisfied with that.

4 College Freshman

Computers: I can always use computers in the Library for my online classes, and I am very happy with that. Also, it's awesome that you can rent an iPad or Mac anytime.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: I don't know much about Greek life at my school, unfortunately.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I don't live around the campus, but in Manhattan, and I am satisfied with my accommodations there.

4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: There are concerts happening every week, sport events as well as many student club activities.

3 College Freshman

Weather: With tons of snow there are branches, snow and icicles falling down. Possibly dangerous in those conditions.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The security regularly checks Student IDs and people entering and exiting campus at all entrances. I am satisfied.

Computers: Brooklyn College has 2 main spots for all your computing needs, the Library and the WEB building behind West Quad. Both these areas have multiple computers for anything that you need to do. However, the Library has 3 Computer Labs which is obviously good to know. I love being in the library as well its very modern and state-of-the-art.

College Sophomore

Majors: I have yet to do an internship. However, the Magner Career Center is the place to go for everything dealing with your career.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: As a computer science major Im glad that I am part of one of the best Computer Science programs in the CUNY system. It gives me strong positive feelings that the reputation of the program is well recognized.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Only security is at the entrances, none anywhere else. But, the campus isnt that huge either so it weighs itself out.

5 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Lots of ladies, 64% I think of the whole student body is females. That fact alone brightens up my mood when Im on the commute there.

5 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Take a subway and go wherever the party is at. Nightlife options are virtually unlimited

4 College Sophomore

Transportation: The subway is the preferred mode of transportation but there are most definitely quite a few bus stops all around the campus that help greatly.
