As a member of the CUNY system, BCC gives students access to numerous resources available to senior colleges, including access to other CUNY libraries, cafeterias, and even gyms. On campus, there is a new North Instructional Building which has 15 classrooms on the ground floor and a library on the second and third floor. This means more room for student group meetings, more computers, and even quiet study areas. There is also an alumni gymnasium, which has multi-complex sport facilities, including an indoor basketball court. Unfortunately the pool is closed for reasons unknown to many, but there are two tennis courts available to students.

Public safety is available 24/7 on campus. Bronx Community College is one of the safest campuses within CUNY with a history of very few crimes. Internet access is moderate, but there is Wi-Fi across campus. There are 14 computer labs at the school, and BCC has upgraded to the latest iMacs. The CUNY e-mall is something to check out and possibly take advantage of at Bronx Community College. Consider it taking student discounts to another level. All you have to do is log on to your CUNY portal, click on the CUNY e-mall link, then begin a frugal shopping spree.
