Academic Flexibility: Every time I register for classes everything goes smoothly. There are many classes to choose from in anytime during the day.

Academic Flexibility: I did not have any credits that can be transfer so it is not too bad. The only thing that frustrated me was financial aid. I can not receive any of it because I am not qualify, so I have to pay my tuition out of my own pocket and also scholarships that I won.

Academic Flexibility: I haven't really had any hassles, they offer a wide range of courses from the early morning to the late evening on a 7-day basis to accommodate parents, working-students and older people.

BMCC is fairly flexible when it comes to admissions and course availability. Students can transfer in from other institutions as long as they have a GPA over 2.0; those with lower GPAs are placed on a wait list. Course registration should be done early to ensure you get the class sections that best fit your schedule.

Academic/Testing Requirements
Students admitted with SAT scores higher than 480 in all three sections-math, reading, and writing-are exempt from placement tests. Those with lower scores must take tests designated by the admissions office for placement in classes.

Up to 30 credits can be transferred in from other institutions.
Typical Session Length
Fall and spring sessions are approximately 16 weeks each. Winter session lasts for about three weeks in January. There are also two summer sessions of about 5-6 weeks each.
Course Registration Process
Students can manage their course registration using BMCC's Panther! system, but they must meet with their academic advisers before scheduling for an upcoming semester.
