Campus Resources: It takes forever just to sign on to your personal laptop

Student Body: I never felt or seen some type of discrimination towards anybody that is different or personal lifestyle.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The classes at BMCC are very flexible, I take all 4 classes two days a week, they offer a wide variety of days and times that best fits your schedule!

3 College Junior

Career Services: I heard the internships they give to the students at the Video Arts and Technology are awful and a waste of time.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: It good, FASFA was able to cover the tuition but the only thing that sucks is the amount of money they send you to cover your expenses, it was not enough to cover 3 textbooks.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: I haven't taken any online courses at BMCC but I know some people who have and the tech support system is awful!

Facilities: Borough of Manhattan is very diverse! We have people from all walks of life, from Russia to Haiti. I never felt discriminated nor left out at BMCC.

Academic Experience: If find the professors to be too lienent on student who are disruptive and not participating in the same capacity as a hard-working well performing student. The school does not provide challenges to help me with the next phase of my educational career.

College Senior

Academic Experience: My college only offers an Associates Program therefore we are required to take courses unrelated to the classes we look to take in our next institution.

4 College Junior

Career Services: The career center is a very encouraging place to be, they have people whose jobs are to help you transfer and are very good at it. The Alumni network is not very good and graduates are really the only ones that might require a return for any purpose. The job prospect are also very good since internship opportunities are in abundance and Career fairs are organised every semester for student to network and find jobs.

In reality, there are many ways to approaching college life; college is what you make of it. When you walk into BMCC for the first time, you'll probably notice the huge amount of unique people on campus. Many students come from foreign countries and have goals and aspirations that differ from yours. However, these people will be your peers. Fitting in may seem cliché when you see the diversity on campus, but everyone meshes because being different is OK. People on campus are friendly and generally interested in networking outside of their usual crowd, so making new friends isn't difficult. There are many social clubs and activities to keep you interested, and having leadership positions in these organizations is a great resumé booster. During your time at BMCC, you'll grow and learn from classmates.

Aside from the great environment, BMCC offers a lot to its students. Organized outings to Broadway shows like "The Lion King" and "Phantom of the Opera" help students expand their horizons. Tickets to the Yankee's games or New York football teams will excite sports fanatics. And for students who need to relax, the school offers a spa day to help you de-stress.
