3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Classes for business are difficult, but the teachers are helpful!

3 College Senior

Student Body: Students are nice and there is a pretty good sense of diversity.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: Awesome library and computer lab. Also, great gym, fields, and pool.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: Wireless coverage isn't great, but where it is it works great. Computer lab and printing is easy and accessible.

3 College Student

Student Body: Even though the ReEntry Student rate is around 38% of the student population, there is not much for them on campus.

3 College Student

Campus Resources: This college is really overshadowed by Cal Poly and really needs more funding to improve the campus.

3 College Student

Campus Resources: It works well in the library and sketchy in most other places

4 College Student

Online Courses: Some teachers, like their in person classes, really take the time to make you feel that you are learning as much as you can.

3 College Student

Career Services: Applied for federal work study last semester, no follow up with applicants. More available for Cal Works people than single returning students with no income.

3 Recent Alumnus

Career Services: There is a career center available and easy to locate on campus, however I have not visited that office. My school offers many job opportunities exclusive to students in the library, tutoring center, cafe, and even at the Fund for Cuesta College. Many alum have made their home near the school and networking is an important aspect of career opportunity in this community.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: The workload is consistent with my expectations being an English major: much reading and literary analysis, with a strong faculty to back a strong curriculum.

4 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: The instructors are knowledgable and engage in conversation with the class, as opposed to merely addressing an audience. It is a very personalized educational experience.

5 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I've never had a problem with flexibility of schedules. Transferring credits was a breeze, a couple clicks of the mouse and it's all done for you.

3 College Freshman

Student Body: It's pretty much all white here, if you're not white nobody will look at you funny or anything but you will most likely be the only non-white person you see. Most are from middle to upper class families that just didn't apply themselves during high school. I don't think there's any sort of bigotry at this school.

5 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: It's community college so it's not like paying for Harvard, still if you don't have a job tuition and books and gas to get out there every day will add up quick. Financial aid was easy and quick, very helpful.

5 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The gym, pool, and baseball field are good. Not really any student center, just a pool table and an xbox 360. The library is fantastic, plenty of space and quiet rooms. The campus is quite beautiful, there is a main quad with a rose garden and cougar statue, plenty of grassy areas with large trees, surrounded by mountains (small mountains).

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: There is one main computer lab with Macs and PCs, they just recently took out about 18 of the computers for some reason so it is significantly smaller but there's usually space. Printing is easy $0.10 per page, a couple of scanners are available. Never had a problem with the network going down unless the power was out in the whole city. Speed has never been an issue. Wireless access is throughout the campus but can be weak in some areas. If you don't have the money to buy a computer you should be fine.

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: Some of the work loads can be daunting but the professors are always there to help. Most online courses have peer to peer forums an some group assignments. Almost all online courses require some in class meetings for tests.

5 College Freshman

Academic Experience: The geology foundation is one of the biggest programs on campus. Field trips are abundant and the faculty is very knowledgeable.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Most teachers do not over work students but there are a few who do. Registration is easy and there's usually space to go around. Professors in specialized (non GE) courses are very passionate and knowledgeable. Great geology, biology, chemistry, marine science, arts, and nursing programs

4 College Freshman

Facilities: the geology program is top notch. Plenty of small classes and a few field trips a year to choose from.

College Freshman

Career Services: this is a community college, people just transfer and don't look back

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: It's hard to move to a new place where you don't know anyone.

3 College Freshman

Facilities: Overall the school is nice I don't think it's much different from any other community college.

4 College Freshman

Student Body: Everyone seems friendly and accepting of others around them.
