4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I love this school and the people in it. It has proved to be a great investment into my future.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Once I spoke with an advisor it took literally 5 minutes to get registered for classes.

4 College Junior

Student Body: Most students are ex-military or spouses.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Earning an Associates in science. Piece of cake.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: On par with a community college

4 College Junior

Online Courses: I don't really like online courses. But this college has made it easy to learn through distance education. They answer questions promptly and will take the time to help any student that needs a little extra instruction.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The schools tuition is on par with other community colleges. I feel that I am getting my money's worth. The Financial Aide office is over the top. They work tirelessly to help the student get the aide they need to attend.

4 College Junior

Facilities: The staff. I have never in my life met a more dedicated group of people. They make it a mission to have their students succeed.

4 College Junior

Career Services: The staff at Craven Community College work hard to get you to where you want to go. They will work with you extensively to ensure you can transfer out, and they also offer several employment help seminars.

Campus Resources: Resources are great on campus. Everything from planning your education at the college to planning courses to prepare for transfer to a major college. The advisors are incredibly helpful and will help you until you are satisfied with your class schedule. They will make sure that you have the correct requisite courses and point you in the right direction if you do not. The Financial Aide office is of great assistance as well, and will set you up with an appointment to get your FAFSA filled out if you need assistance with it. They will scour the earth and help you find scholarships and grants that would help you on your educational path.

Campus Resources: The computer network is up to date, and access is provided to the students during all hours of operation. There are tutors available to assist you if you run into any problems and the I.T. department is prompt. There was an issue last semester where the computers were not reading USB Thumb drives, the instructor made a call, the I.T. department was in the class in less than 3 minutes.

Tuition & Financial Aid: It's super cheap, and the classes will count toward my four year degree, but with only a fraction of the price! Love it!

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I love the learning aspect, however, our school seems to attract many of the major university's dropouts, which makes it kinda weird truly.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: there is a pretty good range of academic flexibility. I didn't have a problem making my schedule work around my job and activities.

2 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Its just okay. It is an average community college.

2 College Sophomore

Facilities: Our school does reach out to students the best it can but it just feels like high school and my classes are rather boring

4 College Junior
