4 College Freshman

Student Body: Everyone is friendly and I like it as an all girls' school for my first time living away from home.

5 College Senior

Student Body: Our school has a very diverse student culture, and there are several clubs to help share that culture along with several events. The school is definitely a liberal arts college and heavily promotes equality of not only different nationalities, but of women in comparison to men. The students are very friendly-despite the occasional skirmish and/or disagreement-and welcoming of new students. They have amazing school spirit and show it through the enthusiasm of and participation in all the school traditions. Each suite is like a little family to whom a new student can, hopefully, grow close; and if they don't get along with the people they live with, then arrangements can be arranged for them to move somewhere they feel more comfortable.

Student Body: Cottey is REALLY diverse. We have women from ALL over the country, and the world! My first semester, I lived in a suite with THREE girls that were from other countries. My second semester, I lived with a girl from the country Georgia. How cool is that? And it's not just that, we vary in age as well. I've known girls that were 17 and in their first year, or 26 and only in their second year! One worry I had about going to a private school was that I'd be surrounded by a bunch of rich kids, and I wouldn't fit in. But Cottey's not like that at all. We're not a bunch of stuck up rich kids. We're young women who have worked hard and earned our education. We're women from all walks of life. The student body is diverse, and welcoming, and it's one of my favorite things about Cottey.

Student Body: Being that my school is small in student body everyone tends to know each other and interact very well. We have our differences but at the end of the day we still get along. My school is also accepts students from all over so the student body is always diverse and there is not any discrimination whether it be towards ethnic or sexual orientation.

4 College Junior

Student Body: This school is really good at catering to everyone's individual needs. You will have the opportunity to meet people from all over. I have friends from every state in the US as well as foreign countries like Ehtipia, South Africa, and Zimbabwe. There are several people that you meet that you easily get a long with who share your same values.
