3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: It is an all girl campus.

4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: It is easy to find a guy to date, but you will have to leave campus. Converse is and all girls school. If you do not lock yourself in your room, more than likely you will find someone.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: We are an all girls school so technically no boys go here unless they are within the graduate program. Everyone expresses their own style on campus. Some people dress up, some wear sports clothes, some were sweats. Depends on the day. Because there are no boys on campus that doesn't mean you cant find a relationship. There are very close colleges and things to do were you can meet men.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Every student has their own identity. No two students are alike. Everyone has their own dress style, interests, and looks. No one is judged for who they hang out with or who they are in a relationship with.

College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: It's a women's college. Expect to deal with a lot of women. That doesn't mean that you won't see men and you aren't anywhere near others it's just on campus a majority of what you will deal with is other females. The girls are very diverse some Southern belles and some jeans and t-shirt girls. It doesn't really matter here.

Converse has an all-women's undergraduate program. There are fewer than 10 male graduate students and a handful of male staff and faculty, but the majority of the Converse community is female. Since there are far fewer guys at Converse than girls, the undergraduate women tend to have serious long-distance relationships with men outside of the school. There are a few students who have casual relationships, but, overall, undergrads either have a serious long-distance relationship or no relationship at all during their time at Converse.

There are many different types of women studying at the College, with some described as smart and friendly and others as creative and artsy. The fun, friendly women at Converse contribute to an active social scene at the school. While you may not find a relationship during your time at Converse College, you’ll certainly find great friends and a lot of social activities to participate in with your classmates.

Social Scene
Students at Converse tend to be very outgoing and friendly. While not everyone hangs out with everyone else, the students generally tend to be accepting of one another. It's not a problem for diverse groups of students to be together in various settings, especially within Converse's different organizations.
Hookups or Relationships?
Women at Converse tend to be involved in serious relationships. These relationships are sometimes long distance and sometimes with a guy at another college in Spartanburg. This tendency towards serious relationships is because there are only a handful of male graduate students on Converse's campus, so you have to go elsewhere to find guys. After all, you don't come to an all-women's college to find a man.
Dress Code
The dress code for classes and day-to-day activities varies from student to student. Some students go to class in pajamas, while others come professionally dressed-it depends on the woman and her life. There is an unspoken "Sunday Best" dress code for Opening Convocation in the fall and Founder's Day in the spring. For dances and similar events, students tend to dress like they are going to a formal cocktail party. There are a couple of formal dances during the year where students dress like they are attending prom.
