Academic Experience: Audio Engineering was the only degree available at this school so therefore everyone was working toward a common goal. The workload was outrageous but if you enjoyed the classes you kept coming back for more. I got a very good internship at a studio in LA because the school is considered the best school for Audio Engineering in the country.

Academic Experience: The school has the best teachers and a very active environment. Being an audio school it is very important for students to have hands on time to fully be able to understand the material learned in class, and this school gives you all the time you need. Not only is the school open 24/7 but you have access to any equipment in the school from 7pm to 8am, its a great way to put your understanding of the material to the test.

Academic Flexibility: Class Flexibility – The school offer 2 class times, though I was spending much much more time then that on the campus going through extra curriculum courses and clinics, as well as undergoing my own projects.

Academic Experience: Incredible Academic Experience – The workload was very tedious, the school understands how to prepare you for the workload that you are going to be receiving once employed. The registration Process was relatively quick and easy without snags. The school is open 24 hours a day so that you can utilize all of the study equipment there that is available at any time it is not being used. This includes 2 SSL Consoles, @ API Consoles, 2 Neotek Consoles, as well as many digital recording mediums and tape machines.

Overall Experience: Over the Top – I truly love and enjoy attending this school, it is by far the most centered and educational from any school that i have ever attended. all of the information is directly relevant to me and my industry, and it has been very easy to apply what has been learned into every day application. The amount of hands on time that i received was incredible. I have run over 20 recording sessions during the few months that I have been there.

I would undoubtedly return if I had the opportunity to make that decision again I would, I could not have asked for anything more from my education.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Worth Every Penny. The education I have received up to this point in my schooling has been priceless. The financial aid process when applying was smooth, clear, and simple thanks to the staff at the Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences.

Overall Experience: Great School That Truely Prepares You! The Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences in my experience so far has given me priceless tools and concepts that I know I will use every day in the audio industry. I have been pushed and motivated every day to pursue no less than complete success by the professional and hardworking atmosphere that the school holds. The goal of the school is simply prepare you in every essential way for working in the audio industry. I am only a fraction of the way through the whole program and have no doubt that when I finish, I will be ready to succeed, thanks to the Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences!

Campus Resources: I am impressed by the quality of education that CRAS provides to it's students. At an open house in April, I found that the teaching staff and support staff are very invested in each student's success at the school. The school has state of the art equipment, very professional and experienced instructors, and offers tudoring and support in every way. The enrollment and financial aid process was easy and very efficient.

Overall Experience: After I decided that I knew I wanted to get into audio engineering, and that it was my passion, I looked for a good program I could attend. I found the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences online, and since it was only a few hours away from my hometown and a fairly easy move, I knew this was the one for me. I checked the school out at an open house a few months ago and it made a great impression on me. I'm excited to start on July 1st and feel this is the beginning of a great career path.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Help With Receiving Scholorships or Grants – I could have used more informative direction on how to apply or receive aid that I may qualify for without having to pay it back.

Overall Experience: Good and Bad – I am a Conservatory graduate and a current business school student. I attended CRAS in 2006 and though I received acceptable knowledge about audio (except mastering), the staff was very unprofessional when referring to hip-hop/rap music. Many students were pursuing careers within that genre and, in my opinion, were ridiculed because of their choice. These students were also labeled as sub par students though many of them were hard-workers and received high scores. Because most of these students were black, many believe that there were racial undertones, but I will not go so far as to make this accusation (at the time we had no black instructors though). My advice: If you love hip hop, please be cognizant of the fact that you may not be welcomed.
