3 College Senior

Campus Dining: The food in the cafeteria is pretty good and relatively varied. My only complaint is that it closes somewhat early, but there are plenty of vending machines around for a late night snack.

4 College Senior

Campus Housing: The dorms are wonderful. They are in good condition and are a good size. The student lobby is comfortable and relatively quiet.

4 College Senior

Facilities: Concordia is a beautiful campus with great student resources. I just wish that the music department was a little bigger!

4 College Student

Computers: Happy with the flexibility my campus offers, as well as support in assisting me with my goals.

3 College Student

Drug Safety: Drug use and abuse is addressed. Counseling and support is available her people and different situations they may be experiencing while in school.

4 College Student

Nightlife: Live music, huge turn out, friendly people.

5 College Sophomore

Majors: Very little wait to get in

3 College Sophomore

Transportation: It's easiest to have a car here. Some things are close but not much.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: With such a small student population, everyone gets involved in intramural sports and watching school teams.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Everything is great but traffic is horrible. Austin is a large city and tons of people from all over the world. Always something to see and do.

College Sophomore

Nightlife: I dont hang out on campus if I am not in class

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: Great facilities located on a nature preserve.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I received one scholarship upon acceptance but you are on your own to figure things out.

College Sophomore

Campus Dining: I do not use the meal plan

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Private university so expensive tuition. They help you with some scholarships, but look for more on your own.

Campus Strictness: I don't live on campus so I am not sure on some of the policies

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: It just depends on the area you want to live and your budget. You are pretty much on your own to find something.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: Diversity is pretty good, plenty of international students. Not everyone is Christian or Lutheran and you don't have to be either to go here.

4 College Sophomore

Parking: Little bit of a walk from student parking lot to buildings, but located on a nature preserve so very pretty and enjoyable.

5 College Junior

Academics: I love being an English major. It's an intense workload mainly of reading, but it's worth it. Most of the classes are discussion based, which is even better. The professors are very passionate and encourage us to be as well!

3 College Junior

Transportation: Personally, transportation hasn't been a problem for me. My friends who have field work have struggled with it, though. It's pretty much up to them to figure out how to get to their various destinations.

3 College Junior

Parking: My biggest gripe with parking would be that the lot near housing is way too small, but parking is still alright. Extra walking never killed anyone. Thank goodness there is no cost for a permit, and you don't really have to have a car to live on campus. Overall, it's alright. It could be worse.

4 College Junior

Scholarships: I have the Presidential Scholarship and have kept up my grades, so that is definitely a plus. The student central always has other scholarship options posted, which really helps, and the staff helps as much as possible. I had a bit of hassle one summer with electronic signatures, but overall, it's awesome. It's more than I would have received at other schools.

3 College Junior

Computers: There are three labs on campus, and normally, that works out alright for papers, but I still like to have my own laptop, especially during the weeks before finals and during finals. There is free and unlimited printing, which is pretty awesome, though it is all black and white. The wireless access is alright, but the network can be pretty flakey at times.

4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: I don't think there is really a typical look of people on campus. What is typical, anyways? We're very relaxed and openly weird for the most part. Then again, it does depend on what group of people you hang out with.... There are definitely cliques, but it is no where near as bad as high school.
