Greek Life: Concordia in Moorhead is a private school and does not have Greek Life.

Greek Life: I really don't know much about the Greek club members or their lives here.

Greek life at Concordia is virtually non-existent. The sole "sorority," Lambda Delta Sigma, is a vehicle for female students to become leaders. Their involvement in campus events is minimal and most students are passively empathetic toward the organization. Campus life doesn’t appear to be greatly affected by the absent world of fraternity frivolity. Parties, though not highly publicized, occur off campus and generally provide that vital social aspect of higher education.

What Concordia lacks in Greek it makes up for in the general relationships among floormates in the dorms. Resident advisers make every attempt to create friendships within the community and have monthly events in which students can participate. While these aren’t necessarily the exact experiences that fraternities and sororities offer, many of them are opportunities for leadership and friendship.
