They took my credits with little problem.
General education credits are easily transferred (if your previous schools are regionally accredited American colleges/unis). Online classes are really flexible. There's a lot of reading, studying, and homework though. Put in the time and effort. How often you're logged in, and the amount of intelligent comments or questions you make counts towards attendance. Each professor counts attendance differently though, so be on the lookout for irregularities in grading procedures.
A lot of the courses at CCV really allow a lot of Academic Flexibility. As a recent College Graduate, and loan repayments kicking in having the flexibility that CCV offers with Online courses is a real life saver! It allows me to work around my schedule, but still get the education I need to help me towards entering graduate school. With the low cost per credit, it is also not a financial burden, which they also over flexible payment plans! Overall a wonderful school to deal with!
Scheduling can be infuriating if you cannot manage to get into the registration office. The hours (10am - 4pm) do not work well with a full time work schedule and it is almost impossible to get the registration office to answer the phone. The administration is infamous for cancelling classes the week or even a few days before the term is set to start due to 'low enrollment' so don't buy your books ahead of time! Other than that, the instructors are friendly and generally forgiving of tardiness or missed classes.
I chose this school because of its flexibility and understanding of my desire to work and go to school. The staff, faculty, and the rest of the CCV administration has been excellent in my journey of school, work, and personal life. I would highly recommend CCV for anyone.
