3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: Everything runs well as far as the speed and programs. However, there aren't enough computers and it takes a while to get a computer to use.

Campus Resources: The computers are old and they have the new windows 8, so they're slow. Besides that, everything is okay.

4 College Student

Campus Resources: I work at the Student Success Center and it has helped me a lot.

4 College Student

Facilities: I am in a program called Connect to College (C2C), which helps with everything related to school and even somethings not related to school. C2C gives me advising and counseling, they help me fill out the Fafsa application and more.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I am currently a General Education student and have enjoyed choosing an array of courses to color my first steps into a broader academic realm. Because I am only in my second semester, I have not yet encountered an internship or career-related opportunity. I think I should prefer to pursue this component of my educational background at another college.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The professors are often coarse in their knowledge of particular aspects of their fields; e.g., my world literature professor is unable to pronounce many Greek names, and last semester's adjunct history teacher referred to Socrates as "so-krayts". Otherwise, many of the classes are small and offer opportunities to interact with the teachers. This is helpful to me, and I have found that my relationships with professors have been very beneficial. I have been fortunate in encountering only one professor to whom I never was able to adjust; the others have been kind and intelligent.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: The Community College of Rhode Island has given me a taste of college life. I was able to obtain free tuition. All in all, despite the raucous atmosphere and occasional lackluster professor, I am glad I enrolled as a CCRI student.

College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I have not yet transferred my college credits. Some of my courses (the more popular ones, such as developmental psychology) have many time slots from which to choose; other courses (such as astronomy, which I was not able to take with its limited availability) do not.

3 College Junior

Facilities: The Community College of Rhode Island offers a healthy variety of classes for the General Education student. The students are often rowdy and immature, even in the classroom; some professors are very intent on keeping such behavior in check, but others are more lax about it.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: I often struggle for a place at the library computer carrel. Otherwise, the computer labs (separate from the library) are accessible. The networking is slow, but I do not particularly mind this (unless of course I'm late for class!).

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The library has a healthy selection of print and electronic resources, although four-year institutions are much more substantial. For a community college, however, this school has a lot to offer. I can often (but not always) find what I want or need in the library.

I should very much like to substantiate the LGBT population at CCRI. As a lesbian student, I often feel isolated. (It doesn't help that there's occasional twerking in the Commons.)

3 College Junior

Student Body: A great many of the female students wear the same clothes as one another. There is a very thin LGBT population, so that, as a lesbian student, I sometimes feel left out.

College Junior

Career Services: I have not yet utilized the career services department but have found attainment of credits a fairly straightforward process.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I was able to obtain free tuition for the fall and spring semesters without any difficulty.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: so far i have liked this school and have learned a lot in what i am currently studying

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I am taking the EMT course and i have really like it so far

College Sophomore

Academic Experience: i dont know much about other academics offered here since i am new

College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: i wouldn't know since i am a new student here

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: all of the facilities are fine except for the athletic centers
