The Allegheny campus is mostly well-maintained, and facilities on the campus are fairly new. The Milton Hall has recently been painted for instance, and some classrooms in the Foerster received new furniture.
Athletic activities take place in the Physical Education Building, which is accessible to all students with a CCAC Allegheny Campus ID. The building includes the gymnasium, the Lifetime Fitness Center, R.E.D. (Rejuvenate Every Day) Room, workout room for students with disabilities, racquetball courts, and the weight room.
The libraries provide plenty of resources, and librarians also help students find the resources they need, whether it’s online resources or library materials. Apart from the hard-copy materials, the library offers access to scientific magazines and articles through its AlleyCat system. Online library services can be accessed at home, which especially benefits students taking night classes who aren’t able to be on campus during library hours. Additionally, the library offers an inter-campus loan service which allows students to order materials from other campuses if the campus they are studying at doesn’t provide it. Both the library and the computer lab offer free printing services to students up to a certain number of pages. The library and the computer lab offer computer services on a first-arrived, first-served basis. Sometimes, students need to wait in line at certain hours of the day. Some students have their own computers and are able to use the campus’s Wi-Fi network, which can be slow at times, but the guest network is always an option.
