4 College Junior

Transportation: CCAD is big enough to be noticed and small enough to walk around. Getting around the Columbus area in general is very easy.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: While the overall student housing is well maintained and aesthetically pleasing, I feel it is overpriced.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Lots of variety in restaurants, from chains to family owned. The entire Columbus area is known for it's ethnic variety of restaurants. The North Market is a huge open market full of shops and food vendors.

4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: There are always formal and informal gatherings all around the campus and surrounding Columbus area. The easiest way to meet people is when small groups gather, sometimes in the small park outside Schottenstein Hall. People talking, skateboarding, playing guitars and music.

4 College Junior

Campus Strictness: I don't see a problem with over-strictness in this school. I feel CCAD is pretty laid back and average when it comes to student activities and dorm activities. P

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: The Columbus area is vibrant and fantastic for college students. Plenty of businesses that hire for part-time and full-time student workers. The downtown area is full of people and engaging events. The Nationwide Arena is close by for any NHL Columbus Bluejacket fans. OSU is close by for Buckeye fans.

3 College Junior

Diversity: Being an art school I think we have students who are used to thinking outside the box of what is considered "normal". At CCAD we let each individual decide what is "normal" for them.

3 College Junior

Weather: It's Ohio, so expect cold/snowy winters, cool/rainy springs and hot/humid summers. Fall is the best time in Ohio, pleasantly, cooler days with an explosion of color in the landscape, so for art students it is a wonderland of inspiration.

3 College Junior

Computers: I mainly use my own laptop for projects and assignments but the availability of computer labs and technology labs is good.

4 College Junior

Drug Safety: I"ve not noticed much in the way of drug activity. Alcohol at surrounding restaurants and bars mostly, but nothing gets out of hand too often.

2 College Junior

Scholarships: Keep on top of every single financial aid information you receive. Be diligent in your attempts to attain aid and exhaust every opportunity to meet with advisors. Make them your best friends.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: The school, while unique and a great place to stretch one's artistic "legs", is entirely too expensive in tuition and living expenses.

3 College Junior

Facilities: The overall atmosphere is good. Being an art college of course the aesthetics are awesome. Tuition rates are way too high and living arrangements are expensive and limited.

3 College Junior

Facilities: The art shows and exhibits are fantastic and attract local companies looking to hire in the artistic field. A great way to showcase your accomplishments

4 College Freshman

Transportation: I take the bus everywhere or walk if it's close enough.

5 College Freshman

Diversity: Because we are an art school, we have a very diverse campus. People come from all over the world to go here. There are all different kinds of religions practiced and beliefs practiced.

5 College Freshman

Academics: Lots of famous alumni who have worked with Disney and what not
