4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Many opportunities to practice and teach with an MFA from CCAD.

4 College Junior

Majors: Art major and internship opportunities are excellent.

3 College Junior

Majors: Difficult to get into the MFA program. I had to prepare for a good year. Your work and project proposal must be top-notch.

College Junior

Guys & Girls: I refuse to review this type of criteria; it is sexist and superficial.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Lots of variety from upscale, higher priced to very affordable.

3 College Junior

Athletics: Not a big sports school, but there is a fitness center.

4 College Junior

Nightlife: Columbus has a great arts scene with many fun festivals.

College Junior

Greek Life: There is no Greek life on this campus (it's an art school).

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: CCAD is located in downtown Columbus which is a major college town with a thriving arts scene. There are various dining options from gourmet and international to late night NY style pizza and everything in-between.

Local Atmosphere: there is something for everyone to love and do in Columbus, no joke!

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: i don't live on campus from what i hear its pretty decent.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: every experience with a staff member has been extremely cheerful and helpful. I'm super pleased so far.

5 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I've been awarded a large academic scholarship, and other grants. which have made the financial process that much smoother.

College Sophomore

Athletics: We do not have either varsity or club sports, we have good workout facilities but no sports facilities.

Guys & Girls: Most students are geeky, or very "artsy" strange clothes or appearances is actually the norm.

Academics: Professors are very dedicated to helping students and will spend lots of one on one time during class. They also have office hours most of the time during the week so students can come in then. The workload is not for the faint of heart, but if you are a hard worker you should do just fine.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: Fine art's majors get a private studio space their senior year and have a senior thesis exhibition for their work.

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: Our campus has a very large and active LGBTQ population. There are many international students from all around the world. Most students are more politically left than average.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Campus security is friendly and all over the campus, they are very visible and helpful and will always escort you if you call them. I have never felt unsafe on campus.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The dorms are right in the middle of campus, you can walk to any of your classes in five minutes or less from the dorms. the dorms are large and modern with an apartment style layout. This cuts down a little on the social atmosphere but it's worth it to get your own private bedroom.

Overall Experience: CCAD is truly a school where each and every student matters. We have small class sizes and professors spend lots of one on one time with you helping you build your skills. All the students are very friendly and welcoming, the older students were very welcoming to freshman and invited us to campus activities and clubs, as well as gave advice on art pieces we were working on.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: Campus security makes everyone feel safe. There is a no tolerance policy for underage alcohol and drug use on campus. However, the administration is fairly lenient on issues of protests and student organizations.
