4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Transferring credits from prior college to Columbia State was easy, classes and scheduling were a breeze, and staff are okay, some go out of their way to help and others are not.

Career Services: While we can only do associate degrees here, I know the Alumni office works really hard to make things good for those who graduate from here.

Academic Flexibility: I haven't had any problems with registration, admissions, or anything. All of my credits are going to transfer to MTSU so that I can complete my BSN with no problems.

Facilities: They are always working on developing new clubs, art projects, and other things. They are currently remodeling the main campus and plan on totally revamping our Franklin campus.

Academic Experience: I am merely a general transfer at my community college, so I am really just taking the prereq's for my nursing program that I am doing in the fall.

Academic Experience: For a community college, we have a lot of great options that other universities don't even have. We have Commercial Entertainment program that there is only one other of its kind in the nation. We also have a nursing, radiology technician, veterinary technician, and phlebotomy programs. Columbia State has articulation agreements with a lot of other schools to insure that when we transfer, our credits will transfer too.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Only money I have paid out of pocket was for some of my study abroad trips and a semester's worth of books, all thanks to scholarships. Thanks Columbia State! :)

Online Courses: I love online!!! I love being able to do things on my own schedule (for the most part).

Student Body: There are definitely some people here who you can tell don't care to be here, but most of my friends here are very hard workers who make education a great priority. We have a Gay-Straight Alliance, and throughout my two years here I have never heard someone make fun of someone or bully anyone. I love how things change in college.

Campus Resources: I am so happy that I started at Columbia State! Because of the opportunities I have been given at Columbia State, I have achieved some dreams that I never thought I could. I studied abroad to Scotland last June and I am going to South Africa in May, due to the incredible scholarships that Columbia State give! Without these experiences, I would not nearly be as well-rounded as a student, citizen, and eventual employee. We have a great fitness facility and computer labs.

Campus Resources: I wish we had color printing for projects, sometimes the technology is a little funky too. But overall I am satisfied with it.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I'm in the nursing program so my classes were extremely difficult but they met 3 times a week which made it easier to go to work and class as well.

3 College Senior

Facilities: I focus more on nursing than sports or art

Campus Resources: I haven't had any issues

Online Courses: I've only taken one online class

Overall Experience: It's been a great opportunity

Career Services: They have tons of help to find jobs after school

Facilities: I like the facilities. The only thing I would change is how the classes are spread all over the campus.

Academic Flexibility: I have had trouble scheduling my classes along with my work schedule. Its not really the school's fault, my work only has 12 hour shifts so that makes it difficult.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I like my school so far. The only thing I would change is my professor I chose for my BIOL 2010 course.

Campus Resources: The resources on campus are okay. The main thing I don't like is that you have to pay cash for the food in the cafeteria. The cafeteria is the only place to buy a meal. The bookstore only has snacks and I think they are priced high.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The computer labs are good. I like that we can print anything we need. There is no limit and no cost.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I haven't taken an online course yet but I have had professors that use the online classroom to tell us our assignments and any thing else they need to.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: Students at Columbia State are very nice. There is a nice variety of students.
