Academic Experience: I am currently int he Nursing program and our unique opportunities include the chance to serve our student body at the annual health fair hosted by CS. We are also learning from some of the best cardiac doctors in the U.S. who are serving Maury County at Maury Regional Hospital where we have nursing clinical.

Academic Experience: The tutoring offered at CS is the absolute best I have ever had. It is highly assessable and the students and staff at the center are extremely helpful.

Overall Experience: I cannot say enough about how professional and caring the professors I have had at Columbia State have been to me. I admire each and everyone of them so much. Some have friended me on FB! We will be lifelong friends! Learning was made easy and fun because they made it so interesting and provided real life applications for what they were teaching.

Overall Experience: The nursing program at Columbia State is one of the best in the state. Anytime I am asked where I am studying nursing and I say Columbia State the reaction is always positive. A few of my friends have graduated from the nursing program and had jobs waiting on them when they graduated!

Student Body: The students and atmosphere at Columbia State are diverse and open individuals. I especially enjoy the opportunities that are provided for students to get together and hang out.

Academic Flexibility: Every interaction with I have had with Columbia State faculty has been above and beyond my expectations. The application process was simple and I was given clear instructions on how to complete all the requirements that I needed to finish my application. Applying for financial aid was easy peazy, the staff in the office are extremely nice and very patient and addressed every concern I had promptly.

Campus Resources: We have many computer labs, student centers that offer tutoring services, the library is huge that has computers, group studying rooms, that do not bother the individual studying students.

Student Body: There is so many different ethnicities, race, and personalities at Columbia State; yet, we all get along and help each other.

Academic Experience: Columbia State offers online and classroom experience. Some professors do both, the workload is pretty even throughout the semester. There are several tutoring centers to help if needed.

5 College Sophomore

Online Courses: It is so convenient and easy doing Columbia State's online courses. Some professors in the classroom make you do tasks and test online.

Career Services: I have not finished undergraduate schooling.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: Columbia State has great outdoor study areas to indoor study areas, tutoring services, and many computer labs to make studying and doing assignments easy. They always have flyers up for upcoming campus events for students.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The teaching and care from staff, professors, and others make it so worth the tuition paid. However, the time it takes to get them on the phone or a response you need may take time, they do not always get back in a timely manor.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The school is not as big as a university so you get a comfortable yet professional feel. The classes are not too big and the professors take time to help and give 1 on 1 time.

Academic Flexibility: Transferring credits from prior college to Columbia State was easy, classes and scheduling were a breeze, and staff are okay, some go out of their way to help and others are not.

Career Services: While we can only do associate degrees here, I know the Alumni office works really hard to make things good for those who graduate from here.

Facilities: They are always working on developing new clubs, art projects, and other things. They are currently remodeling the main campus and plan on totally revamping our Franklin campus.

Academic Experience: I am merely a general transfer at my community college, so I am really just taking the prereq's for my nursing program that I am doing in the fall.

Academic Experience: For a community college, we have a lot of great options that other universities don't even have. We have Commercial Entertainment program that there is only one other of its kind in the nation. We also have a nursing, radiology technician, veterinary technician, and phlebotomy programs. Columbia State has articulation agreements with a lot of other schools to insure that when we transfer, our credits will transfer too.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Only money I have paid out of pocket was for some of my study abroad trips and a semester's worth of books, all thanks to scholarships. Thanks Columbia State! :)

Online Courses: I love online!!! I love being able to do things on my own schedule (for the most part).

Student Body: There are definitely some people here who you can tell don't care to be here, but most of my friends here are very hard workers who make education a great priority. We have a Gay-Straight Alliance, and throughout my two years here I have never heard someone make fun of someone or bully anyone. I love how things change in college.

Campus Resources: I am so happy that I started at Columbia State! Because of the opportunities I have been given at Columbia State, I have achieved some dreams that I never thought I could. I studied abroad to Scotland last June and I am going to South Africa in May, due to the incredible scholarships that Columbia State give! Without these experiences, I would not nearly be as well-rounded as a student, citizen, and eventual employee. We have a great fitness facility and computer labs.
