4 College Freshman

Scholarships: My financial aid was a struggle last year, but now is amazingly good to me.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: I have not been awarded any Financial aid from the school, only through federal grants. It's hard to find what scholarships are being offered at my school.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Do everything early is my biggest time. The app is open on January 1 every year. Have your application done my mid-January at the latest so you still have time to work things out if need arrises.

Also don't wait around. If you haven't gotten a response in a timely fashion, find a number to call and check on things.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Getting financial aid was very confusing at first. My only tips: apply as soon as possible, look at everything you need to fill out and need to apply to way before you have to (this will give you a sense of what information you will need, how long it will take you to fill everything out, and will allow you to fill everything out in due time).

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Student Financial Services i really not very helpful at my school. Only if you go in and sit down and make it very clear do you end up getting results. Over the phone they are a headache and pretty much in any other capacity they are a headache.
