College Junior

Drug Safety: I don't see any drug policy or alcohol policy signs at my school. I am not around campus at night so it might be a different scene then.

2 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: It's not taken seriously. The dorms are running crazy with drugs and I don't see much happening to correct it. The move-in online alcohol test we have to take is a joke. I don't even partake in drug and alcohol and I don't see how it's affective for those that do.

College Freshman

Drug Safety: I have not seen or heard of any drug usage at Columbia.

2 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Students smoke pot everyday, they go to class high, walk past security reeking of the stuff, and nothing is done because no one really cares. Alcohol usually isn't present on campus, just outside of it mostly, but students still come to class and back to their dorms wasted.

5 College Student

Drug Safety: drugs have never been so cheap. Very good drugs. No bunk weed.

Columbia is a very liberal school, and with being liberal comes some liberal behavior. There are many artists, free-spirits, and hipsters that attend Columbia. There is also a pretty hefty amount of students who smoke marijuana. Columbia's drug scene is just like any other college in America. You'll find as many kids who aren't into drugs as you will who are. It just depends on who you hang out with.
