Drug Safety: If you don't do drugs that's cool people won't bug you about it. But you can find any drug you want pretty much.

Drug Safety: Only in a perfect society will there be no drug and alcohol use. Minors will always be able to get alcohol some how. I've heard the strictness of alcohol in dorms is very strict so I hear that most people don't even try because it's too easy to get caught. Since Columbia is so diverse, peer pressure is very low. Most students don't expect or judge anyone based on their decisions and fully respect them.

Drug Safety: our housing and campus is a dry campus so they really don't allow alcohol and if you are caught with it, you will be kicked out of the housing and would need to find another place to live. many students follow this rule

Drug Safety: People talk about drinking and getting high all the time but I haven't actually seen it on campus except for St. Patrick's Day.

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Most of the drug use is tobacco or "vaping" (which so far seems to be healthier than smoking). Other than that, the only drug use I have noticed is weed, which is fairly uncommon.

Columbia is a very liberal school, and with being liberal comes some liberal behavior. There are many artists, free-spirits, and hipsters that attend Columbia. There is also a pretty hefty amount of students who smoke marijuana. Columbia's drug scene is just like any other college in America. You'll find as many kids who aren't into drugs as you will who are. It just depends on who you hang out with.
