3 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: The city has its ups and downs, but overall it is okay. There are other colleges close by so you can interact with many different people. There are also many different clubs and bars to go to, but they are not diverse enough for me. I'd rather go to Charlotte.

4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: The school is surrounded by a bad neighborhood, but not 5 minutes away is the good (or at least better) part of town. Many activities around.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: i think that columbia is a good place and the people here are really fun.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Since it's the capital city of SC, it is obviously the hot spot of the state. There are a lot of festivals during the fall and spring that have really good food and music. The art museum does a lot of shows and activities. It's best to go around in groups with at least 3 people. I haven't actually talked to be people in the city, so I don't know about their attitudes to college students.

2 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: The school is located in a neighborhood known for crime. Other schools are nearby but not within walking distance.
