Local Atmosphere: I LOVE Fort Collins and am so blessed to be attending school there. It is a very diverse place filled with things that I love. It is very close to the mountain which I love spending my time. Old Town is also a very great place to explore new restaurants, shops, among other things. The attitude towards students there is amazing and is one of the reason I chose CSU.

Local Atmosphere: The University and the City try to get along. The people living downtown have a bit more trouble since there are lots of bars there and that causes problems. And there is currently a very large argument about the University building a new football stadium on campus, but for the most part things are good. The city is nice, though small if you are used to living in a large city and huge if you are used to living in the country. But there is lots to do if you know where to look and where to go.

Local Atmosphere: I love the atmosphere around CSU and in Fort Collins. We have beautiful parks and reservoirs to visit during the day, and an avid night scene in Old Town, where there are numerous breweries and bars to hang out at. There are also various community events that happen throughout the year that are very fun, and make living in Fort Collins exciting and rewarding.

Local Atmosphere: Fort Collins has a wonderful atmosphere. The city has the most restaurants per capita.

Local Atmosphere: Fort Collins is a beautiful historic town that has been. the buildings and streets have been kept up and renovated. There is a gorgeous walking mall complete with fountain, pergola, and local sculptures - all surrounded by upscale restaurants, bars, and shops. Outside of town the streets are clean and kept up, with nice local and corporate eateries and shopping centers. The city backs up to the Rocky Mountain foothills and Horsetooth Reservoir. the mountain scenery is stunning and spectacular. The mountain town Estes Park is not too far away with ll its fun touristy things as well as Rocky Mountain National Park. In the summer there is camping, hiking, and rafting...in the winter there is skiing and snowboarding. The atmosphere here in northern Colorado is next to none!
