3 College Sophomore

Facilities: CSU-Pueblo has done an excellent job with remodeling the library, sports complexes and fields, and building the new student rec center. However, many of their classrooms are older and a bit out-dated.

3 College Junior

Facilities: The library is the most up-to-date building and is where the majority of the students can socialize, grab a coffee, study, and use the space for group work. The other buildings are quite neglected. In one building, it seems as though the air conditioner is never off, even in the winter. New staircases were installed for the psychology building in May/June and they are already rusting and wavering. The university is only concerned about making money and highlighting only what they want the public to know.

Facilities: I really enjoy going to the gym, and they have a great facility here. I do wish that there were more options for students who want to try out for teams though. I was varsity all four years for volleyball and basketball, and I would have loved to know about if I could have tried out for the teams here.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: I love that its not so big that I get lost. I am in love with the psychology department here! All of my teachers are pretty awesome and they love what they do. I couldn't ask for a better education. Campus life isn't really on my radar just because I do work and I am usually too tired to do anything, but I know CSUP tries to keep life here interesting and they have a variety of clubs.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: clean and up to date

Since it's Pueblo, Colo., you get what you pay for. Tuition is very cheap for both in-state and out-of-state students. With that in mind, the facilities are not like those of a school with 60,000 students. The cafeteria is really small, but not horrible since you’re never left without a seat. The buildings are old and have small classrooms, with nothing but walls and a projector. In some classrooms, the paint has chipped off, and it’s never been repainted. However, one of the perks is that the buildings have air conditioning and heating.

The worst thing about the classrooms is that there are chalkboards. Most of the time, there is no chalk, so the teacher can’t write. Construction often causes inconveniences; for example, while the library has been under construction, a small room in one of the buildings has served as a makeshift library, with many books on the floor, and if you need a certain book, it would have to be ordered a couple of hours beforehand.
