3 College Junior

Campus Dining: It's a cafeteria. I would recommend going to the cantina, it may be a little extra but every now and then couldn't hurt for better food. There are a few food outlets in a few buildings, but I wouldn't say I go to CSU-P for the food.

3 College Freshman

Campus Dining: It's located in the student center, which is pretty convenient.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: A lot of the time, the food is bland. It looks really good but there is hardly any flavoring. its disappointing. I also wish there was a healthier breakfast option. I have trouble staying fit when my only options are greasy and high fat foods that actually taste good.

3 College Junior

Campus Dining: Food and dining options are limited because of the size of he campus, however campus is very close to local restaurants around town.

3 College Freshman

Campus Dining: The campus dining is open from 8:00am-7:00pm on week days, but on Saturday and Sunday in the morning it's from 10:30am-2:00pm and that night it is from 5:00pm-7:00pm. I wish they would keep the dining open in between times on the weekends and have later dinner as well. The food is mediocre not that good and not that great. Although every once in a while the different types of dinner they have is delicious. I personally admire the desert they have.

Like most universities, students living in the dorms are required to purchase a meal plan. The plans have different amounts of meals per week at different costs. The Columbine Café is an all-you-can-eat buffet. There is a vegetarian section for those who choose not to eat meat. The Café is a lot smaller and has a lot less variety than most universities. Also, food is all made by the chefs that work at the University. They try to have some healthy stuff available, but the Freshman 15 is definitely from the food you will be eating.

Students can also have Flex Points. The Flex Points can be used in the La Cantina, a place similar to the Café, but with more to choose from. There are a couple of other little carts around campus for you to grab a light lunch or a snack. There are not too many places at the school to eat on campus, but you won’t go hungry. Yes, the food gets old, but it’s still food.
