4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Campus housing is good on campus. Obviously the newer dorms are going to be filled up before the older ones, but I think they all have good and bad things about them.

Athletics: The athletics are good. Some are better than others, but I think they are all attended equally and appeal to all students. Intramural have a lot of support as well other than just varsity sports.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I love Grand Junction and I love Mesa. The people are amazing and the town is great as a whole. The other thing I have to sad bad is just about waiting around to get into a specific major program I want to be in.

College Freshman

Transportation: I don't use transportation other than my own car. Living on campus, I don't ever have very many places I need to go. I assume that campus transportation is good for who uses it.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: The diversity on campus is one of the reasons why I chose Mesa. There are so many different types of people and it just adds to how amazing the campus really is.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Campus rules are what they are. Being as it is a dry campus, it is the fault of the person getting in trouble that they got in trouble in the first place. Dry means no alcohol. Plain and simple

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: I don't know much about the greek life at Mesa. All I know is that there are major-specific groups and one main fraternity, but no sororities unless you are in the interest group.

4 College Freshman

Computers: The only issue I have is with the wifi and how slow it can be at times. It can be difficult to do something unless you are on a school computer

3 College Freshman

Majors: I have never had an internship and majoring as a Nurse doesn't have a ton of opportunities to intern at the local hospital. A good way to get a look at what the nurses do is to volunteer at the hospital

3 College Freshman

Majors: I am happy with being a nursing major, but trying to get into the program is the most difficult part. I had applied and did not get an interview so I am pushed back a semester.

College Freshman

Weather: The weather is perfect. There is a good amount and mix of rain, snow, and sunshine.

4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: The town as a whole is super cute and full of very friendly people. Downtown Grand Junction has a lot to offer and the little shops have the best people working in them.

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: I have only received one scholarship from the school for being on the Student Conduct Board

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: There is not much night life unless there is a party on the weekend

3 College Junior

Academics: If you attend classes and do the work, an A or B in class is easily obtainable.

3 College Junior

Academics: The professors always make time for their students.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: I do not live on-campus, but it's used quite well.

3 College Junior

Diversity: Diversity is accepted and people tend to hang with others like them.

3 College Junior

Transportation: Public transportation around town is available, but you better add a couple hours to your day just to get around. Taxi's are expensive. Best route is to have your own vehicle.

3 College Junior

Campus Strictness: The on-campus police help keep things from getting out of hand.

4 College Junior

Athletics: They have quite a variety of sports available to students who want to participate.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: It's average. The financial aid department is always available and willing to help.

3 College Junior

Drug Safety: On-campus police keep things under control on campus.

4 College Junior

Computers: The computer labs are always available, and usually you don't have to wait long to access one.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Off-campus housing can be expensive unless you have room-mates to help share the cost.
