I applied through the financial office at the college for financial aid and did not realize that it would only be enough for 2 classes a semester. Therefore, it is taking me a long time to graduate. I had to take off a semester or two for health issues and hospital stays as well as a recent arson fire that made me homeless for a while and that put me further behind. I had to withdraw from a couple of classes and had to fail a couple of classes bringing my aid short of the classes that I still have to take to graduate. I have not received any additional assistance from the school except for these scholarship attempts. I am trying to get a loan, but do not know if I can qualify. I am frustrated right now, but know that God will open a door or window for me.
I'm applying for scholarships all the time. That being said, if you qualify for financial aid, don't expect to live off of it solely. You're going to need other things.
i have applied and been accepted to the college, but have not started yet. I will be attending the Grand Junction, Co CCU campus.
I have just applied to the school and I am currently working with the financial aid people to see how much aid I will be able to receive. So far they are a great help.
The people in financial aid were helpful.
