5 College Sophomore

Academics: I am going for my BSN and it is an adult program and very fast paced but it will be worth it

4 College Sophomore

Academics: My professors are helpful with the subjects that they teach. All are well educated and can assist in student's grasp of the material. The workload is heavy at times, but we get through it all.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: It is very difficult to keep up with the work load sometimes and if you get behind it is very hard to catch up. I work all day and try to do class work online and it can be a trial.

However, the Human Resource major is very interesting and I respect the importance of the department. The way that the law is interconnected with the employees, management, and situations that come up are intricate and need distinct knowledge and planning to maintain balance. For a company to survive and grow, the employees and management have to work together through all of the entanglements relationships can manifest. Human Resources is a huge field and it is open to many avenues of study, so job options should be more forthcoming than some other fields.

There is a lot of reading involved and research which is time consuming, the classes melt into each other, so the final is sometimes scrunched into the beginning of the next class. I have not used the facilities for a while as my classes are online. The library is also online and I have found it hard to use at times. I work for a company that I do not plan to leave yet, so have not checked out the internship/job opportunities.

5 Recent Alumnus

Academics: Registration is easy, just pick out a class if it's available to you. The staff is very willing to talk to you and find out what you'd like to do next.

3 College Freshman

Academics: There are quite a lot of girls who major in psychology! The workload can seem like a lot, just make sure you talk to your professors and let them know when you're struggling and need help!
