3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: There are some classrooms with computers in them, which is great. There is a low number of computers in the computer lab which is inconvenient at best. The network is great, quick, convenient - I 've never had any problems with it. I haven't printed at school so I am really not sure on cost. I have used the wireless frequently...and can access it from any of the buildings I have been in.

Campus Resources: I haven not used the athletic centers or the student center and I am highly uninvolved in campus activities (I am an adult who is working full-time and going to school). The general aesthetics are good - everything is conveniently located and easy to find so no complaints there.

Student Body: This is a community college. A lot of students go here after high school and have very little desire to learn. There does seem to be a pretty diverse student body and there are definitely students doing their best to encourage student body participation. Overall I think it's a great school with an adequately diverse student body.

Career Services: I have not looked into the post grad services offered by our school, primarily because I will be seeking employment outside of this area once I graduate (about 150 miles away).

Online Courses: If the instructor is into it, they are great. I have had some classes where the instructor seems to rate the online course as relatively unimportant, but then I have also had classes where the instructor is very attentive. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to enroll in another online course here.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is low (currently $46/unit) and I generally qualify for the BOG Fee Waiver (they pay my dollars per unit!) Staff has always been very friendly and helpful when I have needed assistance.

Facilities: To be honest, I have been highly uninvolved with my school. I am ecstatic that they offer a RN Program and that it is spoken of very well throughout the county and surrounding counties, but beyond that one aspect I really have no other input.

College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: This is the only college I've attended so I have no experience of needing to transfer any credits.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I was just offered a seat in the Nursing Program...fulfilling the biology pre-requisites was tough! There aren't many classes offered and they are difficult to get into (because it is so impacted). Keep trying and trying and trying. Get on the wait list. try to crash the class even if your aren't on the wait list.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I have never had any complaint about curriculum, registration, workload, etc. There have been instances where registration is a little difficult doe to general online "hiccups" but the registration staff have always been very helpful. I have only had 1 bad experience with a professor. Overall I was disappointed in his lack of teaching. Don't get me wrong, I am all for an easy class, but I do still believe that our dollars should be spent on quality educators who can actually teach.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Went smoothly, but sometimes confusing.

Overall Experience: I enjoy school and learning very much!

3 College Freshman

Student Body: Not much engagement, but very nice and coordinated

Campus Resources: Great internet but computer lab exclusive.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: Easy to find offices, but difficult to plan.

3 College Freshman

Online Courses: Taken 3 online courses, but didn't enjoy them.

Facilities: College of the Sequoias has so many programs and clubs to offer for STEM majors such as myself and the help, for whatever reason, is always available upon request. Literally, all you have to do is ask and everything seems to get worked out without a hassle because the faculty there is genuinely interested in the well-being of their students and it is very appreciated.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Super long lines are not my forte.. honestly I need the money but waiting in line not seeing my kids is way too much.

College Student

Career Services: I am barely in my second semester. And I have only begun at cos.

3 College Student

Academic Flexibility: I have two kids and a side job for cleaning. So it is a bit hard to juggle everything and money is a big issue.

4 College Student

Student Body: I come from a small town with not much diversity. But at my school there were all kinds of different people. It was so much fun meeting new people.

3 College Student

Campus Resources: The library is full of things that I can use for my work. We have activities mostly every week too. The campus is awesome.

3 College Student

Campus Resources: There are all sorts of awesome things I can use at school for my work. If I need help with something I can always find someone or something to help. The network is awesome and the speed is good.

4 College Student

Online Courses: It gives me the chance to stay home with my kids. And I also love the discussions.

4 College Student

Overall Experience: I honestly cannot complain. It is a really enjoyable school.
