Off-Campus Dining: With the college being located in the touristy Branson community, we have an abundance of off-campus restaurants. There is a fair amount of variety when it comes to the dining options; however, I think most of us at the school find that we cannot afford most places except for the fast food restaurants. Some of the area restaurants offer discounts and/or certain specials to College of the Ozarks students, which is nice, though I don't think any of us have figured out which restaurants do offer this and which of them don't.

Facilities: We work for our education. However. the trade off is you have no freedom, and if you are a normal person, you better watch your back on how you are perceived, one tattle tale, or stuck up person is all takes before you are kicked out

Weather: if it rains, no lounges are open, there for you just go to sleep.

Local Atmosphere: Near Branson, Mo. nothing but boring, same old, shows. Few things to do. Nothing on campus, nothing off campus. Springfield, Mo is usually where we end up

Majors: curriculum is good, work load has to be 15 hour, (and must attend or you get kicked out) plus working on campus for 15 hours. plus a lot of people work off campus as well another 15 hours. Students here are very, very busy and very, very tired,

Majors: Programs good, but when I'm done, I'll be done and would not want to do it all over again. Mostly because of working two jobs, plus class. job will be easy, just because it's an open and growing field.

Off-Campus Dining: Only place to eat is the Caf, and it is terrible. most unhealthy food for you and taste terrible. When there is some good food, all the food is good, but when it's bad, it is all very bad.

1 College Sophomore

Computers: terrible wireless, always disconnecting, slow internet. WiFi is only on a few select places on campus.

1 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: We are no longer allowed to live off campus, unless we are married, or live with parents!

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: it's great for the basketball team and a few select kids support them a lot. The other people don't really care. And no one cares about baseball team, and we have no idea of any other sports.

Nightlife: anything fun is against the rules and you will be kicked out. Night life here is watching a G-rated movie in a lounge. No opposite genders in rooms/dorms.

Greek Life: We do not have the Greek Life at my college.

Weather: Southern Missouri is usually always on the warmer side for Missouri. My college is located in the Ozarks- which has been rated one of the most beautiful places in the United States of America. The weather is absolutely beautiful and it allows the grass, trees, bushes, and flowers to be healthy and bright. It also allows endless hours on the lake whether you are on speedboats, canoes, docks, swimming, or just walking around the many shopping centers and parks.

Transportation: If you are a freshman you can only access your car on the weekends. bikes have to be registered with the college but are the easiest ways to get from one building to the next, that being said all buildings are within walking distance.

Health & Safety: The college is almost completely student run. the criminal justice majors are the security on campus under a hired manager.

Nightlife: The College of the Ozark's has an absolute zero tolerance to the consumption of alcohol. You can get expelled if you come on to the dry campus drunk or with alcohol on your person. If you are 21 you can only drink with your parents present.

Parking: The only bad thing about parking is the freshman lock up and sophomore lots.

Weather: The weather is nice in all seasons, in my opinion.

Athletics: Our athletic facilities are great and useful for everyone.

Guys & Girls: The guys at the school are great gentlemen and the girls really respect that.

Off-Campus Dining: We live right next to a tourist city with so many places to eat so food is never a problem.

Academics: I absolutely love how the professors are there to assist us, not just to talk at us.
