Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid process is a huge headache for everyone. Your first year you have no idea what you are doing or what the process is. The deadlines can for all the necessary forms (along with filling out the forms) is extremely intimidating since most students don't have any experiences dealing with this large financial burden (with a few exceptions). Sometimes when dealing with someone from financial aid they give you the wrong numbers or tell you very little or even tell you information that aren't really at your comprehension level. Sometimes the financial aid staff can tell you multiple things and you're left to trying to figure out what in the world are they talking about. And of course there is always information that never reaches you. The best way to deal with financial aid is to make a "buddy" so to speak that you know can translate the information down to your understanding and tells you the correct numbers and forms to fill out who will help you throughout the process time. Ask plenty of questions even if some of the questions you feel like a complete imbecile for asking.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am a big fan of CCGA's tuition prices. I graduated in the Atlanta area and several of my friends are paying between $10,000-50,000 for their college tuition. In addition to the price for the classes, the individual attention from teachers and advisors is priceless. When people are considering CCGA I tell them how inexpensive it is and that it is a 15 minute drive to the beach. I am satisfied with the price.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I guess when compared to other four year institutions the tuition is wonderful. But, this semester I am only a part-time student and don't need access to everything that I am paying for. I know at others schools, say UGA, if you want to decline the use of the gym or other non-essential things you can. You fill out a form saying that you do not want to participate in "so and so" and then you aren't required to pay those activity fees. I wish that were true at CCGA, because I am paying for things that I do not want or need.
