Campus Strictness: The attendance is a bit much, but you are paying a lot to go to the school

3 College Student

Campus Strictness: The college is pretty rigid about certain things.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: They keep everything in good shape. not the strictest though but they are all kind

College Senior

Campus Strictness: Campus strictness reflects the nature and environment of the city in which the school is located. Rules and policies are placed and enforced for the well being of the student body, campus, and facilities.

4 College Junior

Campus Strictness: I'm not in the dorms, so I can't rate that. Attendance isn't particularly strict, but you're not going to do very well if you don't show up to classes, because that's where you do a lot of your work.

CCS is really strict, but for good reason. It is set in an area where crime runs high, and you can never be too careful. They also have a reputation to maintain, so they keep the campus dry and don't condone drinking or drug use, which most students don't have time for anyway. If you park too long in the circle and hold up traffic, or if you park in the visitor's parking lot, you'll be ticketed.

Facts & Statistics

Students Are Most Likely to Get Caught...
  • Destroying school property
  • Destroying someone's artwork
  • Downloading movies/music illegally
  • Drinking
  • Parking illegally
  • Partying
  • Smoking
Visitation Policies
If you are having a guest visit you in the dorms, you have to sign them in every time. They aren't allowed to stay any longer than three days, and you have to fill out a fresh ticket every day that they're there.

If you bring a visitor to campus to check things out, the Ford Campus is totally fine with them walking around with you without signing them in, until the buildings close anyway. However, if you want to bring someone to the Taubman Campus to check things out, it's a bit harder. Sometimes they will allow you to sign someone in, and other times they won't. They should, but sometimes they like to give you a hard time.
