1 College Freshman

Campus Housing: When I was touring colleges one of the main reason I chose Coker was because of the size of the rooms. The smallest room on campus is your freshman room which is a 14 by 18 ft size room, you only share the room with a roommate. For your freshman year you have a choice of sweet-style rooms or community bath. I absolutely love my hall mates and you become so close to them when you are on a all girls floor. As you become a upperclassman the rooms get nicer, and soon you will progress to your own room like an apartment.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The school is wonderfully clean, and the campus is actually very calm and "safe". It's college, its expensive, and the dorm prices are around 2000 a semester or something. I live on campus. I. don't. know.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The Housing is very close to your classes and cafeteria. However, it can get a little trashy over the weeks and weekends. You can easily hang out with your friends in dorms.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: The campus housing situation is okay depending on what class you are. If you are a freshman then you are out of luck and probably have a poor quality dorm. Quality comes with class!

Campus Housing: Drastic Differences – At Coker College, all dorms are located near classes (except for the new dorms built off campus). RTC is generally a freshman dorm but there are always some upperclassmen that get stuck there after room draws. RTC is the worst with four floors, no elevator, and the occasional mold siting. Memorial is not a bad dorm, but it is the only one with community bathrooms. Grannis and JLC are the best upperclassmen dorms located on campus. They are decently renovated and house four people to a room. (Sometimes 5 in JLC with two bathrooms)
