4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: There have only been a handful of times where there was something wrong on campus, and had to involve campus security, but in the end, the problems were fixed.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: There are tons of different people on campus and no one that I have ever known discriminates or doesn't like someone else for their views.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: Everyone is always hyped up about the sports but the school isn't that great at them. They overshadow everything and everyone else and it gets irritating sometimes.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: The school provides off campus housing right off campus and they are pretty nice places, it's jut that it's very limited, and really only the seniors get it. And it can be pricy.

4 College Freshman

Majors: It was actually quite simple to get into my program. I sent off my application, I was accepted and then the mediator for new students contacted me and made it so much more simpler to make a smooth transition from high school to college.

3 College Freshman

Majors: I haven't really gotten into it yet, but in the next year I will be and hopefully I enjoy it as much as I think I will.

4 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: The school is pretty laid back but if someone gets caught doing something they shouldn't be they will get in trouble accordingly.

3 College Freshman

Academics: I've had harder classes but I've also had easier classes. Just depends on the teacher.

4 College Freshman

Academics: It's said to be one of the best programs at the school, I haven't really gotten into any of my majors classes yet, but next year I will be.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Some of the rooms are gross and dingy, some are tiny and cramped. It all just depends on the dorm placement.

5 College Sophomore

Athletics: Athletics are highly accepted, about 70% or more of the students are athletes but they are all very active around campus as well.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: One of the most notable places that students go to for food is Golden Dragon, a local Chinese food restaurant that is practically in the parking lot of the library on campus so it is very close and within walking distance. The cost is very manageable for a college student and Coker students receive a 10% discount and they offer a variety of Chinese dishes as well as Japanese meal options. If students do not want have a meal at the cafeteria, just head down to Golden Dragon.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: its great except the drinking!

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: definitely the instructors so far have been excellent. everyone is kind and accepting.

College Freshman

Greek Life: There is no Greek life.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I don't live off campus but my friend does and he says it is convenient. It also is cost-efficient and parking friendly. However it is a slight drive to campus.

2 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: students litter all around the dorm rooms

the toilets are disgusting (students do not flush, sometimes leek on the seats and showers)

Loud noise all the time from music

drinking goes on everywhere

Academically the school is strict

a very strong honor code which is good.

2 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: No kosher/halal food available.

Not much variety.

prices are okay.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: 27 international students. Very accepting, especially towards me.

5 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: a close knit community, everyone knows everyone. Kind, eloquent and productive.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: the process was easy but they could be a little more generous to international students.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: The whole college revolves around sports. It is a team-like environment, no matter what team you play for, yo always support your fellow cobra. We always have access to various games.

4 College Freshman

Academics: It's tough but doable. Every course emphasizes quality of work. The facilities at Coker are excellent and internship opportunities are plentiful.

4 College Freshman

Majors: It's been a relaxed program so far and the teachers are brilliant, making it ever so enjoyable. I would do it all over again. My goal is to get into accounting and finance, however my only concern is competition.

3 College Freshman

Computers: The network speed sometimes it's very slow. The school provides the use of their computers to every student.
