3 College Junior

Online Courses: i havent started yet so im not to sure

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: i went to clover park before to get my cna. im returning because it was a great experience

College Junior

Academic Experience: I am a new student and have not yet started.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The scheduling is easy and user friendly

3 College Junior

Career Services: I am a new student, but my interactions have left me with a favorable opinion.

College Junior

Facilities: I have not been around long enough to have a feel for this

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: There are new buildings and updated buildings that are very nice and appealing to the eye, but on the other hand there are very old buildings which need to be demolished. One of these old buildings I have been inside smells musty and the floors creak when you walk down the hall. There are also old military-looking buildings that are really an eye-sore! The student center is very nice and so is the library. Parking was poorly planned.

Campus Resources: I do not currently have a personal computer, so I have been utilizing the computer lab or computer classroom almost daily. The computer lab is a spacious room with comfortable chairs and proper lighting. It always has available computers and the staff is very helpful. I have not had any difficulty with network reliability or speed, and printing is available for 5 cents a page.

College Junior

Academic Experience: I am currently enrolled in 2 on-line computer classes and will not start the accounting program until next quarter. The only input I have is a very positive experience with one of the program instructors - both in a phone conversation and an in-person visit to get some questions answered.

Academic Experience: My class registration process was smooth, quick, and done by a wonderful employee at the front desk. I registered a day after classes started because I had been undecided, but it was no problem. I changed from Excel to PowerPoint during the first week and then changed my Word class from classroom to on-line and both changes were very smooth. Again, because I am currently only taking 2 computer classes and won't start the accounting program until next quarter, I really don't have a lot to review.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Having gone to college the first time over 30 years ago, I find the tuition to be very expensive, especially for a technical college. Apparently I do not qualify for financial aid because I already have a bachelor's degree, so I am looking at scholarships since I currently am unemployed.

College Junior

Career Services: I have not utilized any of these services

3 College Junior

Student Body: It appears as if most of the students at Clover Park range in age from 18 to 60. There are a lot of young adults pursuing their first career, but there are also a lot of older adults either going to college for the first time or returning to college to change their career focus. There are also a lot of veterans using their education benefits. Lakewood has a wide ethnic diversity, especially black, white, and Asian.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: So far I have had a great experience. I was able to get registered at 4:45pm on a friday afternoon, when classes had started the day before. Then when I decided to switch from a classroom class to on-line, it was a very smooth transition with all people involved: the person at the front desk, her supervisor, and the instructor.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: I have never before taken an on-line class, and I love my 2 computer classes that I am currently taking. It's convenient because I can do 30 minutes or 3+ hours, depending on the time I have on any particular day. There is no worry about missing something in a lecture because you can repeat the show-me and hint buttons as many times as necessary.

2 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is expensive and I couldnt get any financial help because my parents take home income is too high but their expenses are too high to help me

2 College Junior

Overall Experience: I wish they would treat all the programs fairly and make sure students have the tools to succeed

2 College Junior

Career Services: Nobody has talked to me or anyone I know about after we graduate

2 College Junior

Student Body: There are a lot of african American students and they tend to block out and are rude to students who arent

2 College Junior

Online Courses: I havent taken online courses but from what ive heard they can be difficult to navigate and are not always working for students to do their work

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: It would be better if we didnt have to work on prep table with 3 other people and had our own kitchen

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: There are lots of programs at clover park

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: I havent heard much about athletes, but we have lots of school sponsored events.

2 College Junior

Campus Resources: We dont have many computers we have to share 1 among about 60 students in our building

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I havent had to deal much with this because I am in a program that runs a certain time every quarter
