3 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Its just like any other area the individual just needs to be aware of their surroundings.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: culure and art are right on the mark, as far as expense in dining and local activities, a poor student will literally starve.

Local Atmosphere: Cleveland is a big city and there is lots to do, but around University Circle, there is even more. Art enthusiasts will love the two different art museums we have within walking distance of our campus. Little Italy offers great food and dining. Restaurants line Euclid, and the Botanical Gardens are always showing colorful plants and flowers year round.

Local Atmosphere: The Cleveland Institute of Art is in the middle of University Circle, one of the many neighborhoods outside of Downtown Cleveland. It is home to many restaurants, local businesses, as well as our sister college, Case Western Reserve University. Uptown, the newest portion of University Circle, has recently finished construction on many restaurants that will accept our student cards. It is very convenient to be able to grab a sandwich from Jimmy John's before going to an evening class. The only downside to our location is that it is a trip to go downtown. Downtown has more places to go to compared to University Circle. To get downtown you have to take the Rapid or one of the many buses that frequent the Uptown area. Once you understand the bus systems it really isn't that bad. University Circle just takes some getting used to.

3 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Cleveland was much more than I expected when I first came here. It seems like every day I am growing more and more along with the city. Maturing, making my mistakes, paving my way path to my future, and building character. I think the challenges with living in such an industrialized city that was harshly hit by the economy helps me realize the bigger world out there. It's up to you to make the best out of every situation.
