Weather: Most of the time its great but winter storms bring things to a halt around here

Weather: Just like typical South Carolina weather, during the winter it will be raining one day, snowing the next, and then all of a sudden it will feel like Spring. However, with classes so close to the dorms, the weather does not affect most students when traveling to class. The only "bad" weather we have had is snow, but the south normally never gets snow so it is expected. Classes are typically cancelled when there is bad weather.

2 College Sophomore

Weather: Very rainy and gloomy most of school year

5 College Sophomore

Weather: Right now it's the third week in February and it has been 70 degrees out for the past few days. Even when it's 50 the sun makes it feel like 65. We got snow a few times this semester too. Even an inch equals a snow day!

Weather at Clemson is comfortable year-round. Being in the south, Clemson doesn't face any extreme weather conditions; even the summer heat isn't unbearable. If it does happen to snow, expect the whole campus to turn into a playground, as it has in the past.

Clemson's weather can't be beat. It's got the best of every season and you get to see it all right here in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. You'll appreciate the weather even more when the rest of the country is snowed-in and you don't even have to wear a jacket.
