Campus Strictness: The Campus strictness is strict were it needs to be and lenient where it needs to be as well.

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Strictness: Overall, Clemson is strict. You don't want to get caught, although there are a lot of forgiveness programs. I would recommend not cheating in any way 2 strikes and you are out without being refunded any money.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: They give us a lot of free space because we are practically adults but they do have a strict policy about no underage drinking, no use of drugs, and the integrity contract.

5 College Junior

Campus Strictness: they're fair and aren't over the top with rules. nothing you wouldn't expect from any other schools

3 College Junior

Campus Strictness: I have never dealt with this issue, so no complaints.

Students agree that common sense is the most important thing to have if you're going to be drinking underage or attending parties where alcohol is present. They warn to be particularly careful in dorms or at bars when you know SLED (South Carolina Law Enforcement Division) agents are in the area. Most students feel that the police ensure safety on campus and do not treat the students unfairly.

Campus police are not overly strict at Clemson, nor are they pushovers. You need to be especially careful when on campus, particularly in the dorms. The University is responsible for the safety of all its students, and they go to great lengths to keep the living areas safe.
