5 College Junior

Computers: i've never had any issues with the computers or labs reliability and speed. every student is required to have their own computer though so i rarely have to use the computer labs.

Majors: applying and getting into my major was pretty simple. i originally applied for business and was accepted but changed my mind and changed my major to Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management with a minor in Business Administration. the change was pretty easy but took a while. i had to email a couple times before it was done. i was a transfer, so for me the most important criteria was to have at least 30 transfer credits and good grades. my advice would be to just keep pushing and know what you want. with determination, you'll get there no matter how frustrating the process may be.

5 College Junior

Majors: i love it because it's a very hands on program and gets me excited about my future. i nothing negative to say about my program.

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: everything is so close to campus and walking distance and there are plenty of choices for food.

5 College Junior

Drug Safety: i myself rarely see drug use around campus, but like any other college partying takes place therefore alcohol is involved. i've never seen either of these on campus though

5 College Junior

Weather: it's a little chillier than where i'm from because it's a little further north, but it doesn't effect how wonderful the campus is. it's close to the mountains and other locations that are perfect for the colder times in the year.

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: no one i know feels threatened at this school and i myself feel perfectly safe.

5 College Junior

Athletics: anything to do with the sports at Clemson University is huge! the school spirit is phenomenal and everyone goes. the facilities are beautiful. Clemson football is something every student should and will experience.

5 College Junior

Academics: love my major! love my classes and how interactive they are! it's so hands on and makes me excited to get out there and get started. the teachers are happy to help with anything you need.

5 College Junior

Academics: the work load is fair and like any other college. the registration process has been a little annoying because it feels like i've been pulling teeth to get any helpful information, but once information is received everything works out great. there are tons of study options for the students- to the point that if you're failing or making a D it's because you really aren't trying. this school is there for you to succeed and they will do anything to help you if you ask for it. i don't know about the curriculum for the other majors, but i have no complaints with mine. it's excellent.

5 College Junior

Campus Strictness: they're fair and aren't over the top with rules. nothing you wouldn't expect from any other schools

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: the rooms are smaller than the typical dorm but they are nice and well kept

5 College Junior

Guys & Girls: everyone is friendly and extremely spirited about their sports. they are true dedicated fans. everyone seems to genuinely love clemson university. everyone dresses for the most part preppy or athletic and always have something orange on no matter how small the piece of clothing is. the relationships are amazing and it's so easy to make friends.

5 College Junior

Greek Life: i'm not a part of greek life but it doesn't have much effect on those of us who are not in the greek life. everyone is treated equally and are welcome to join in on the fun

4 College Junior

Campus Dining: lots to choose from and have yet to have a bad experience with the food

4 College Junior

Greek Life: It is slightly difficult to get into the greek system but it is worth it! The people you meet are irreplaceable.

3 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: It's a college town. Some people like that.

3 College Junior

Drug Safety: The school is pretty consistent at cracking down.

3 College Junior

Campus Strictness: I have never dealt with this issue, so no complaints.

2 College Junior

Athletics: Athletics are a waste of time and money.

4 College Junior

Weather: Bring an umbrella for evening showers.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: You won't be impressed, but you won't be disgusted.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: I've seen worse, but pretty standard college town fare.

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Downtown is a great place to go to eat. We also have many options on campus as well.

Health & Safety: The police and security officers are great. The campus health center (Redfern) is nice and the employees are very much qualified, but they don't get as much experience as regular doctors, so I would probably go off-campus for serious conditions.

Clemson offers an amazing college experience. Students return for the rest of their lives to see how the campus has changed and to support the Tigers. Although it is located in a small town, the school is big enough that there is never a dull moment, and the location only makes the student body closer to one another. As anyone who has been to Clemson knows, the students' blood here is orange, and the Clemson spirit is contagious for almost anyone who attends.
