Campus Dining: Clemson house is decent. Overall, the dining has increased very much from the time I first arrived on campus. They include many more options for vegetarians, and include what is in the food should you have a food allergy.

Academics: I studied Biological Sciences at Clemson University. The curriculum is very hard, but will prepare you for going into the medical or scientific field. The professors work with you in order to find your strengths and work through any weaknesses. Because of the intensity of the program there is a unique bond with many of the students. Most of my friends came from my major. The facilities are out dated, but most science facilities are. There were not very many internship opportunities, though there are a few.

Academics: Clemson offers great engineering, science, nursing, and graphics programs. Additionally, it has good education and business programs. The workload on the different study routes differs extremely. Those studying science and engineering have a great deal less free time than those glossing over business terms and education strategies. The professors seem to be fair and Clemson has a good system of complaint if you feel that you are being cheated out of a grade.

Off-Campus Dining: We had a running joke that if there was a new place coming it would be a sandwich place. We had 9 sandwich places to choose from, but other than that you were out of luck. There are 2 Chinese places, 1 semi- Italian place, and about 2 Mexican places. Aside from that there are only sandwich places and bars.

Diversity: There is a lot of diversity on campus such as race, gender, social economic background. Clemson is a high visibility school for international students as well. This makes it a melting pot of people. However, the most visible people are conservative white protestant males because Clemson is so involved in exclusive fraternities and sororities. Because Clemson invests so highly in these clubs that caters to tradition (prominent white males), while the campus itself has diversity in multiple areas, the acceptance and visibility of each group is skewed.

Campus Housing: I never lived in the dorms, I lived in the apartments which was my last pick for the lottery. I think that because I got my last pick for the lottery system I think it did not have a very good logarithm for selecting housing for students. The apartment was a 10 minute walk to my classes. There was not a social atmosphere in the apartment as everyone kept to themselves. The cost I came to find out was higher for on campus where I was living compared to many other places off campus. I would recommend off campus living to Clemson Students.

Off-Campus Housing: Compared to on campus housing it is affordable, easy to find, and higher quality for price. The benefit to on campus housing is the ease of being so close to your classes. The cons are that you 1. have to adhere to strict noise levels otherwise you could get in trouble with the university 2. more expensive than most off campus for the quality of living. 3. you apply to the top 3 housing arrangements, you might not get your first pick 4. you have to have a roommate 5. due to parking for those who live on campus being far away, it is a hassle to go anywhere off campus. 6. on campus housing is still not any safer than off campus housing. (my apartment was broken into when I lived on campus)

Health & Safety: Campus Security itself is great. I would feel mostly safe walking at night by myself. I will state that, while living on campus, my apartment was broken into. Additionally, at a party involving a lot of alcohol a friend of mine was raped. Because both partys were intoxicated it became a "He said, She said" and the issue was ignored. This particular guy belonged to a frat with a prominent faculty involvement;thus, she felt pressured from multiple sides to stay quiet. I don't think that Clemson University, aside from their Counseling and Psychological Services program, treats sexual assault as an issue.

Guys & Girls: Most of our students have different styles in dressing so we are liable to see just about anything on campus, but not inappropriate things.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: Dining halls are at perfect spots on campus I think and I like that we get paw points on our id cards for buying meal plans because they come in handy when you get tired of the dining hall food and during finals.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: We have a very diverse campus and most everyone accepts each other. There are many different organizations on campus that focus on diversity and being people together to learn about each other.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Doing FAFSA was pretty easy if you follow the directions carefully but getting assistant at school is no problem. I would say that you stay on financial aid to make sure all your money is there and that bills get paid on time.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Clemson has a beautiful scenery. Everyone here is generally friendly to each other and doesn't mind helping someone in need out.

5 College Sophomore

Majors: From what I've heard we have a great group of people to help us get an internship; some that pay and others that don't. I do plan on interning my junior and senior year because it is a great way to get experience and possibly getting a guaranteed job right after graduating.

5 College Sophomore

Majors: I am very happy with my program. We have some of the best advisors working with us and making sure are staying on the right track with school.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: They give us a lot of free space because we are practically adults but they do have a strict policy about no underage drinking, no use of drugs, and the integrity contract.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I don't really know much about off-campus living but I do know it's prices are reasonable

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I think we have an advantage living on campus because it helps with our social life and is more convenient when it's time to go to classes.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Academics here is pretty challenging and time consuming at times so we really have to stay focus when doing out work. Our advisors are real good at pointing us in the direction of help to get jobs during and after school.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: Some of the professors, I think, aren't as great teaching as some of the others I have had experiences with.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Overall our security is pretty good.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Greek life has events for everyone to attend.

3 College Senior

Facilities: People find ways to waste time.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: Financial Aid Office's idea of aid is offering more loans.

4 College Senior

Diversity: Engineering majors have about three women. Total.

Clemson offers an amazing college experience. Students return for the rest of their lives to see how the campus has changed and to support the Tigers. Although it is located in a small town, the school is big enough that there is never a dull moment, and the location only makes the student body closer to one another. As anyone who has been to Clemson knows, the students' blood here is orange, and the Clemson spirit is contagious for almost anyone who attends.
