2 College Freshman

Scholarships: Clemson gives out very few scholarships

Weather: Beautiful weather. Although it does occasionally rain and when it rains, it pours. Bring rainboots!

Greek Life: Greek life is huge at Clemson. Especially if you're a guy, you can't get into parties not being greek. If you're a girl however you can get into any party. It still is pretty lonely not being greek though, a lot of people judge based on what sorority you're in, or if you're not in a sorority they judge as well. Pretty stuck up and SUPER PREPPY. There are a FEW chill girls though.

Facilities: Gamedays are by far my favorite. The school spirit is unreal. There is orange everywhere. It honestly makes me want to cry watching the tigers run down the hill

Drug Safety: Tailgates are so much fun. Beer is very easy to come by and police are very nonchalant on gamedays. I have yet to see much drug presence other than alcohol around campus.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I feel safe on campus however there have been a few instances where men have broken into the all girls dorms due to lack of a good security system.

Off-Campus Dining: There are quite a few different chain places to eat downtown Clemson, which is a convenient walkable distance from campus, such as Chipotle, Moes, Firehouse subs, Jimmy Johns, Little Caesars. And then there are a few other restaurants with good food that allows students to use their tiger stripes.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: Definitely predominately all white. It's a southern school with southern, republican views so some people are not so accepting of minorities.

Off-Campus Housing: I do not live off campus and have not yet investigated my options.

4 College Freshman

Campus Dining: Any dinning hall food gets old, but there are a good number of options offered which are mostly healthy and taste good. Only one dining hall is open on the weekends, which can be inconvenient.

Overall Experience: Clemson has a very pretty campus and great academics. There is also a strong christian community that is easy to get plugged in to.

Nightlife: I do not attend bars or drinking parties. I am not informed on the issue.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: The girls are very good looking and intelligent. Many are very kind as well.

4 College Freshman

Computers: Plenty of computers and printers are available on campus, though a laptop may be required in class. The wi-fi is reliable and fast in most places.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: Just do well in school and be well rounded and you will be considered for eligible scholarships..

Diversity: I do not know much about diversity on campus. I see diverse people, but I do not debate issues of diversity.

4 College Freshman

Academics: Mechanical engineering is a popular major and has many co-op and internship opportunities available. The curriculum is well taught.

Academics: Most of the professors are competent in my opinion. Class availability is limited to people with a freshman class standing, but otherwise functions well (except when the web site crashes). Plenty of extra help options are also available.

4 College Freshman

Transportation: Bus routes are well established and free around campus. Shuttles are also available for travel to places like wal-mart.

5 College Freshman

Weather: Every college has its rainy days and cold winters, but most of the time the weather is very enjoyable.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Johnstone are old and unpopular, but the other dorm facilities are well taken care of and very nice.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Overall, our varsity teams are good, though our football team can be inconsistent. The school spirit is the best of any college, though.

4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: your average guy and girl. little on the preppy side

Drug Safety: Underage drinking is enforced.

Greek Life: I'm having a super time.

Clemson offers an amazing college experience. Students return for the rest of their lives to see how the campus has changed and to support the Tigers. Although it is located in a small town, the school is big enough that there is never a dull moment, and the location only makes the student body closer to one another. As anyone who has been to Clemson knows, the students' blood here is orange, and the Clemson spirit is contagious for almost anyone who attends.
